Oh, Jonas always gives me goosebumps everytime he hits the high notes! How he always goes an octave higher than normal is amazing, and he looks absolutely angelic :D

@murssheed Actually, I think Mew is one those bands that people like for the wrong reasons. Mew is original and has a nice progressive touch and of course Bjerre is an amazing singer, but I know people who listen to it because it's "cute"

I've dealt just fine thanks. As an engineer for 15 years I know all the tricks. Not the lead vocals, but the backups, like at 3:26 and other places are pre-recorded. That's why the video cuts to the animated things singing. Little kids can't tell the difference right?

Seriously, you must be joking. How can you not tell the difference between a live performance and a studio recording? This is 100% played live, except some of Jonas' layered background vocals in the chorus that are being looped while he sings the main part.

No, they're going to continue writing songs as a three-piece without an official replacement for Johan. I'd assume they're going to continue touring with Bastian Juel, though - and maybe he'll play some bass on the new album? Bo has mentioned that Damon Tutunjian is playing bass in Introducing Palace Players, so maybe he's on some other tracks as well. Guess we'll find out in August :)
