I love this song my ex lived so far away from me and this was our song he os so sweet I miss him so much but we broke up cuz we were to far apart and I was really hard for both of us and now I really want him back :(
that sucks. i think though what this song is about is that there was a girl that cared about him but he didnt really love her back, but when he finally realizes how much he loves her and cares for her, she has already moved on with her life and forgotten about him.
So he's basically just asking God to keep her safe.
