@satinsguard Sadly, my favorite two of those are on only at 9:30 and 10:30 on weekdays. The others come few and far between. Damn CN. Bring back Cartoon Network, the real one, with PPG and Dexter's lab(my two favorites) and all the other good ones. Not just an hour, followed by some live action crap. I wish we had the lineup of pretty much any other Cartoon Network. They don't show very much of the old, but more than now. Plus, they have very, very few live-action shows.

The thing is, I don't think they're trying very hard anymore. Before, cartoons used to either teach you valuable lessons or give you a good laugh. Nowadays all they care about is money. Since the top three channels that kids usually watch Disney, CN and Nick air shows that are all the same (i.e bland and more "modern") I believe they don't feel they need to try. The kids watch it anyway since that's all that's on TV. Poor things, they're missing out. ):

I was born, raised and still live in Romania, Cartoon Network was my first contact with the English language and I must say, it has been a blessing to me and many "kids" like me. I will never forget all those Hanna Barbera Cartoons, NEVER! Unfortunately, when it started changing, I lost my interest in it, sadly in Romania starting with 2004 they also started translating the cartoons in Romanian. I think that I'm not the only one that WOULD PAY! real cash to have the old cartoon network back.

My criticism:

*CN is more for money than art, I think. Many of the graphics look real cheap(like Powerpuff Girls) and many episodes show a lack of inspiration. Like, why did The Pirates of Dark Water stay unfinished while Robotboy-esque fastfood flourished?

*CN is a kids channel, so it's inherently inferior to less-censored media (Metalocalypse, Hellsing, etc.). See for yourself: Downtown and Megas XLR were made by the same guy and even share one character(Goat).

But Dbz was an anime and it was completed on CN so they ended it after a few reruns. and Gundum was an anime so because it wasnt CN's then do to some better shows gettin added to toonami then it got dropped. It's horrible this is happening to Cartoon Network, but it's worse since Nick is the same exact story. It seems that when shows grow old, they get worse on these networks probably because they're losing material, but it's not just the shows themselves that grow old and bad, it's the entire network that grows old because the newer shows start off worse and worse until BAM, the network is dead.

cartoon network has lost that edge it used to i have very good memorys of cartoon network a a child even the little short cartoons were good as a kid you realy looked foward to coming home and watching cartoon network but then it all changed it went all computerized a good example of this is fosters home for imaginary friends cmon please surely you can do better than that

Surely a digitized medium does not make the cartoon any less of a cartoon. All Pixar does is 3d so does that mean that it's work is shoddy? While I agree that cartoons such as Dexters Lab and Powerpuff Girls were fantastic a show such as FHFIF is equally as great. It's quirky, has connectable characters and is done by the sam guy who did PPG. Now putting on 4 hours of scooby doo each day, I could do without. There's no digitization in that cartoon and boy does that one blow hard.

I agree CN used to have freakin awesome shows like Outlaw Star, DBZ, etc. but no now the have fucking shit shows like Camp Lazlo (WTF!!!), Fried Dynamite (as said by Serigoonofre, But I will add to it with WTF!!!), and a bunch of other lame shows I will add this WTFx100000000000000!!!!
