  • Ur never suppose to stur caramel or itll crystalize heres my recipe 2 cups of sugar a little bit of watter let it boil till it gets to a dark red brown color but dont burn it then remove it from the heat and stir in 3 or 2 squares of butter and add the heavy cream let it cool n ur good

  • rule number 1 when making a caramel...YOURE NEVER SUPPOSE TO STIR IT OR CRYSTALIZATION OCCURS!!!

  • This has irritated me soooo bad. I have tried this twice and messed up two pots and wasted cream and butter. When I do this way, (on high heat like it says) it turns into candy and sticks to the pot and no amount of heat melts it. So irritated by this. I usually put my milk and sugar in together and let it cook until it starts to bubble and brown...when it reduces, I remove it from the heat and there you have it.
