The federal gov't and the private sector have radically different reasons for being, which conflict with each other when balance ceases to exist and the social equilibrium is broken. The U.S. Postal Service is the absolute best in the world at what it does, and has fallen victim to modern advances in technology. All it's got to do is re-organize.
