What about workflow, you want a purchase order system where you enter the information into a form, then it automatically goes to your manager for approval, end finally it goes to the accounting department who generate the PO and order the stuff you need? Build that using Gmail. :-)
@iownslaves If you just want to use your browser, you can use the web interface, called iNotes. It even support working offline, and has for much longer than Gamil. You can take any application offline, and the Notes client have supported that for 20+ years...
Nice. Now if they would just do this for their products and advertise to the public.

Lotus uses at least 128Mb of RAM to keep it running while gmail uses the capacity of my browser. Will always hate lotus
