I went out of my way to fuck a mac over and turn it into something useful... So I took my AR15 went nuts blew a giant fucking hole in the side and spent 15min just staring at it its now a housing for my 12" kenwood subwoofer and yes I will be posting a video of it.
The mac's this guy is talking about are the ones in the very late 90's/early 00's and those things sucked arse (look at the mac he kicks, very old model)!!! Mac's now are great but they weren't always that good. They did everything this guy said they did and for that reason this video is awesome. So basically, if you're under 25 you probably wont get this vid
tis funny cuz i own a 4 year old pc, gaming computer, made by dell, runs windows XP (for gods sake) it has quadcore, 550 gigs harddrive, 64 bit and 32 gigs ram.
the other option i had when i bought my pc was a mac, and if i had chosen that, i would be playing battlefield 3, MW3 and skyrim on a ps3.

Alienware is just an OEM for PC's, just like Apple is an OEM, but for Mac. There's nothing particularly special about Alienware, as it is highly regarded as the PC equivalent of a Mac...that being, it's woefully overpriced for what it offers.

I tried playing Minecraft on my 2007 iMac desktop the other day and it took 20 min. to start up, then crashed. I tried it on an old PC laptop from 2004 with windows xp, and it worked like a charm.
@super6426 The video was uploaded in 2006, meaning he was using a G5 or lower model (assuming a desktop because he used the mouse hand gesture). The G5 and previous all had trays. Enjoy your fail.

@super6426 eMacs and iMacs are not desktops and not used for video editing in industry. When I said desktops I mean using real desktop components, not an LCD screen with built in laptop components like iMacs or eMacs. Trust me, I've worked in the field long enough to have my facts straight.
@personmans Actually yea iMac's are used for video editing with Final Cut Pro and other video editing softwares you get a non glare one though if you are doing major editing and I think I would know I just sent three weeks at NYU film school learning all about this stuff from people who have won oscars for best short film and the guy who directed I love you man John Hamburg. So trust me I've worked in that field to, and I'm only 14 and I've built my own computer, I know about all this stuff.
Macs are for kids who like to build their ego up on the expensive stuff they have. Pc's are for humble people who like to game and do office work and browse the web as usual. That, and mac charges you more for the looks than the hardware. You can make a pc look cool, and run great for roughly $1500. Macs are $2000 starting and this vid was made when pc hardware wasn't as crazy as it is now.

Macs are also very expensive and because apple is the only company that sells them you end up paying about 1,000 dollars for the opperating system alone. Also back in the time of this video both os's had probs macs would often lock up and pc's would get blu screen my point: dont insult w/o evidence

All I'm saying is, never say never, because I was once such an Apple hater and swore I would never buy one of those toylike Macs which were obviously for people too dumb to know about computers. Of course this was before I had any real experience with OSX... once I had to get a Mac for work, it gradually dawned on me that I should have switched much sooner.

Alienware is just an OEM for PC's, just like Apple is an OEM, but for Mac. There's nothing particularly special about Alienware, as it is highly regarded as the PC equivalent of a Mac...that being, it's woefully overpriced for what it offers.

I like how mac computers look. They've very aesthetically appealing but the operating system itself isn't anything special. Maybe if Apple contributed to the open source projects that made up their codebase I'd be able to show them an ounce of respect but they don't. Nothing wrong with Macs or OSX, but Apple has very carefully crafted a business model that exploits the consumer base at time of purchase, and service-related issues. Apple purposely created a warranty so strict that it scares any potential customer out of doing minor maintenance on their own, under threat of voiding the warranty. Maintenance and service can cost an atrocious amount of money. It's capitalism at its most sinister. Apple has gotten it down.

Last time i cheched the Intel Core i7 2600k 3.2 ghz (Unlocked) Cost $329.98 CAN
Now if you look at the Mac the stock Intel Core i7 they have is 2.2 ghz? Which is much worse the the $132.40 Intel core i3...
But what really concerned me is how it cost 250 FUCKING DOLLARS TO GO FROM A 2.2GHZ PROCESSOR TO A 2.3GHZ PROCESSOR?

@super6426 eMacs and iMacs are not desktops and not used for video editing in industry. When I said desktops I mean using real desktop components, not an LCD screen with built in laptop components like iMacs or eMacs. Trust me, I've worked in the field long enough to have my facts straight.

@personmans Actually yea iMac's are used for video editing with Final Cut Pro and other video editing softwares you get a non glare one though if you are doing major editing and I think I would know I just sent three weeks at NYU film school learning all about this stuff from people who have won oscars for best short film and the guy who directed I love you man John Hamburg. So trust me I've worked in that field to, and I'm only 14 and I've built my own computer, I know about all this stuff.

Macs are for kids who like to build their ego up on the expensive stuff they have. Pc's are for humble people who like to game and do office work and browse the web as usual. That, and mac charges you more for the looks than the hardware. You can make a pc look cool, and run great for roughly $1500. Macs are $2000 starting and this vid was made when pc hardware wasn't as crazy as it is now.
