IF they are coming here they have obviously found a better mode of transport that is beyond our current understanding. He says, "the faster you go, the slower time goes by". Another words, if you could somehow travel the speed of light on a train that zipped around our earth for a few minutes, when you got off the train, 100's of years would have passed. the faster u move, the slower time goes. going in the past is not possible.

However, assuming you could travel back in time into a "alternate" universe, the reality is not the same. Its hard to understand i know. Here is an example. If I went back in time by entering a paraellel univserse to prevent the shooting of JFK, although his life would have been saved, our reality in our universe would be the same and unchanged.
