@jessjess62590 he is not tuning to C. he is tuning Standard tuning. he is playing in the key of C. dont use you tube for tunings, just do a google search.

I used to have guitar lessons with Duck Baker back in the early 80's at Stefan Grossman's house in Parsons Green. I went to my (Japanese) wifes ex-bosses leaving party about a year ago, which was the house next door - small world.
It makes it a bigger coincidence - my wife's boss is Japanese - irrelevant tho i admit. wel spotted, it's good to have someone keeping an eye on you like that, keep it up.
Excellent teaching technique--best I've found online by far. Is that a Larivee? It has a beautifully crisp, full sound. Thanks for the guidance.
