It seems Hank made a bundle from 2003 to 2006 and did not have to show Uncle Sam the money. I made around $17,776 during the same period and though I have already paid Uncle Sam, I would cough in a few more bucks if Hank throws up, err in, his $200 million.

This is my Senator. Yesterday I dropped by both Senators and my Rep. offices with a letter urging them not to vote for the bail out. I also have emailed them daily for the past week and called them every day. I called Shelby's office and thanked him (via his aide)for standing firm on this issue.
I hope he will continue to do the right thing and listen to the economists. I was pleased to hear this speech, it was not what I expected at all.

* We should not immediately rubber stamp the Paulson-Bush plan without due consideration.
* We should consider alternatives
* George Bush will not be the President of the United States in 4 months, and Paulson will not be Treasurer in 4 months
What Paulson and Bush have repeatedly demanded is:
* ASAP approval - every single day they said an agreement had to be signed within a day!
* This is the only choice you have
