Spoiler : i just dont get it ?! so isnt that a bit strange to u that jackie just happends to be the next darkness host but he has a wife who is the lightness host that smells fishy or is that the smell of rotton flesh from the darkness o.o but that is fishy The darkness 3 2013 mabye 2014 but that is very fishy.

Second, it could be pure coincidence that Jenny was the Angelus *not the Lightness*, however, that's highly doubtful, and it could be planned by The Angelus, which is why the Darkness forced Jackie to watch her get shot in the first place; because it was the death of the host of the Angelus.

tl;dr Jenny is NOT Jackie's wife, and the Angelus is not called "The Lightness", as that sounds stupid.

even though its cell shaded its not quite the same as Borderlands. not to mention that in this one you have more controll over the Darkness and can actually attack with it propperly.

also eating hearts is now made almost obselete with all the awesome executions!!!

i was originally put off by the graphics change but i began to warm to it and after playing the demo, with all the new awesomeness i actually prefer it!

i loved the first game and the second game looks immense! i only have 2 problems with it 1. the graphics look like borderland graphics and that take the scare effect away i think 2. they changed what the darkness heads look like :( .. besides them 2 points it looks EPIC!

I love The Darkness comics, and I loved the first game. After playing the demo, I can't wait for the sequel, however the voise of Jackie Estacado in the sequel is not nearly as good as the one in the first.

Why couldn't you guys actually capitalize on what made your original game a success? Brilliant lighting, atmosphere, scripting, and voicework for a very straightforward story that was told with some wit and maturity. Now, with a bigger budget, you want to pander to teens with Prototype rejects and "this bad dude has to save the world from himself" schlock? @BloodSportA2 Well this one is meant to be more faithful to the comic series. Although I agree that the original was amazing, I don't think it's fair to judge something you haven't truly experienced yourself. Generally cell-shaded graphics aren't usually bad. They usually provide a bit of contrast to what's "in", and can be refreshing. It's not like they took out the creepy atmosphere and gore. So far although the voice work wouldn't be considered more "Adult friendly" it's still above average.

As for judging it, I've already said I would keep my eyes open, but I can still comment on what they show us. The first game was (Admittedly, surprisingly) Emotional and Tense while still making you feel like the ultimate badass. Jenny's death made you mad (Especially after making you play that hell level) And once you got back to earth, Shit got real :D
