Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
Very interesting. I think the worlds leaders should stick their heads (and power) together and free Tibet, so that more people could get to know the tibetan culture.
I want to go here too, but china is really problem here. So i decided to go live in nepal or bhutan where i can do meditation in mountains without stress from chinese.
Tibetan Buddhism used to be considered a separate branch of Buddhism, neither Theravada nor Mahayana. The practices are very different from the other branches of Buddhism.
Tibetan Buddhism is called Mantrayana or Vajrayana and is a sect of Mahayana Buddhism, although its teachers often draw distinctions between their own beliefs and the beliefs of Sutrayana (the other forms of Mahayana Buddhism). It has a lot more ritual magic and yoga sadhanas (practices) than the other schools of Buddhism. Yoga in Buddhism consists of samatha (samadhi-meditation) and vipassana (prajna-wisdom). Yoga in Mantrayana also has tumo and tantric yoga, which manipulate chi.
Th video is a collection of excerpts from various Buddhist ceremonies. ie. the blessing of a Buddhist altar or shrine, the welcoming of a new phase. The hand slapping and stomping is used when debating points of the dharma. Two major branches of Buddhism are recognized: Theravāda ("The School of the Elders") and Mahāyāna ("The Great Vehicle"). Theravāda, the oldest surviving branch. I beleive the clip shows the chants and sutra of this tradition
Someone responded and said this was Theravada, which it is definitely not. Tibetan buddhism is a Vajrayana offshoot of Mahayana buddhism, and this video is of a sect named the gelugpa, aka Yellow Hat Sect. Bet you can guess why.
thanks for the upload!! truly spiritually inspiration, touching. love it
