hondas are reliable cars, all mechanics of all makes will agree. cb7 is coming up on its 20th birthday in 2010 and are still on the roads in large numbers.

LOL, I embarrased a CRX with my Galant just last Sunday, it's not hard at all. Seriously, the most impressive streetable Hondas I've seen (aside from the S2000, which no tuner boys afford), have gotten fast because the owners stripped shit out to make them light. I'm sure if I took out all the carpet, sound-deadening, and back seat from my G it'd be wicked fast. But again as it stands the BEST motors that all the Honda tuners brag about push like 200HP at best N/A, NOT impressive at all.
Actually, IF you had done more reasearch, you would've known that in 2005 a street team with a 1997 Acura Integra Type R fully built their car and got just a little over 2000fwhp and the motor was n/a...haha, race your "G" against that honda motor and see what happens.

That's all true, but Honda DID end production on the NSX for a time. I give big props to NSXs but they're not too common. The Supra is supposed to come back (another unnecesarily rare car) and word is they will be 5.0 V8s pushing around 500HP, so that's pretty close. Plus Mitsu's Lancer Evo FQ400 was a DAMN quick car.Ultimately, I whole-heartedly recommend Hondas to folks who want fuel economy that'll last forever if taken care of, just not for street or drag racing applications.

After listening to the announcer at the end of the race, he says "14.88 @ 91" I'm not sure who's time he was stating, but that is not Z28 times, unless like I said he was a horrible driver.
If you look at the end of the video when the camaro comes back into the screen, the camaro is ahead of the accord before the race is over. From the beginning the accord did pull, but the camaro caught up. Might have just been a V6 since the weak launch, or a horrible driver.

the old 92-94 SE maximas ( VE30DE w/ 5spd ) aren't slow ..decent.
95 and up VQ30...VQ35DE V6s are potent.
you want a RWD V6....get a Infinity J30 ( VG30DE ) < same engine as the 300ZX...and use the 300ZX 5spd trans.

No shit...it's pretty obvious that it wasn't a v8 considering we couldn't hear a damn thing from the supposed V8 engine. No matter how shitty of a fart can your POS car has...you'd still be able to hear at least a little bit of a v8.
