you can tell the commentators do base ball and football not soccer we need better commentators who have the guts to scream out GOOOOOOOOOOOOALLLLLLLLL! Like the colombian comentators do. now that's commantating.
Altidore is a sick player but he needs to learn to shut his mouth and stop looking retarded. He seems to be at the middle of every foul trying to pick a fight, it's something that could hurt him later on
Your right. Altidore is a very sick player but I do think he keeps his mouth shut. He is very very mature for his age. On ESPN Rob Stone asked him the question if he thinks about crossing the pond and Altidore handled the question better than anybody could have.
yes but he acts like a prima donna on the field. the commentators also mentioned several times that he has the attitude like a national team stalwart than the young hopeful that he is. a plate a humble pie would serve him some good.
Conway ha grosse responsabilità sul goal del pareggio. Ha fatto un passettino verso il palo protetto dalla folta barriera che lui stesso ha piazzato e il tiratore lo ha sorpreso con un piatto innocuo sul suo palo.
if that translates to "conway is a shite goalkeep" than i agree. the five goals he allowed against chicago were just horrendous. at least three of them were savable
American "soccer" commentators just sound stupid to me. They talk about stuff that's totally irrelevant. Get in the game, study english commentators. They know what the hell they're talking about.
American sports commentators in general talk a lot compared to their European counterparts- it's just their style. I know many people who consider English commentating boring because they're silent so often. There's no right or wrong way, you just need to get it through your head that the English are not so high and mighty that the US needs to emulate them in every aspect of the sport in order to succeed.
silentnoise, you might think that I'm English or something. That's not the case. I'm Swedish and I live in the US. When I look at any other sport here I can't really complain about the commentating, but when it comes to "soccer" (really hate that word btw) they just sound stupid to me. One commentator for example said something about that the other guy had tought him something he did't know. This just proves my point. They don't know this sport.
true most of the commentators don't know what they are talking about but not all of them. ESPN uses tommy smyth for most of their commentating and FSC has Eric Wynalda both do well on their commentating but I think other networks should pick up ex-players for the commentating. Having said that though the commentating isn't terrible it's not the best but not terrible
Does anyone know what song they played while the red bulls were training on the field before the game. thats if anyone was at the game yesterday, cause i was??? thanks.
for the redbull fans, does anyone think that imhoff and innes are great defenders? I think JCO Hyped this thing up.I thought he would bring in 3 big players, but he's bringing in more average players
thats why jozy's at villareal..... or was there idk if hes gonna stay

so lucky that ref is stupid of that ridiculous foul
HALORULERS4LIFE 3 years ago
Jozy is too good for the Championship, which is where Fulham's headed, I'm afraid. So is Dempsey. Lazy Eddie should fit right in, though.
reidj41 3 years ago
No he is not, the Championship is still better than mls. PS Fulham weren't relegated

think the red bulls had enough people in that wall?

Gran goal di Altidore!!

Si il goal di Altidore è molto bello, peccato che è valso solo un punto per via di quell'errore di Conway, ma tutti possono sbagliare!
