@StarBoy62 I agree, they should have....there's actually no real dance number in the entire movie....if there were any dance numbers they ended up getting deleted!
i hate the "cosby show" feel to the song... this is one of my favorite songs from this musical and i did not like this version at all... the staging was fantastic but i hate the arrangement of the song...
@Elphaboy The a cappella version was only for the TV special. You think that was bad, the live version had the exact same drive to it, but with an orchestra, and a '90s pop-shuffle beat on the drum machine.
I am finishing splitting the Making of up into 10 minute segments. I will be putting it online as soon as I get back to school where I have broadband. Unfortunately, I do not have the live version.

Yeah I knew that I wasn't crazy. When I saw it on Ice Dorothy was a brunette and the Scarecrow was different and even his makeup was different and that black guy didn't do Dorothy's voice, a black lady did.

Like I said on another video, the show was altered for the broadcast. On the soundtrack they sold at the show, it is different.
