Nintendo is doing the same thing SEGA is-

Adding a bunch of new characters, just trying to market it to 8 year olds who play Mario Advance on GBA.

It worked for X-Men, but it DOES NOT work for video games!

Hardcore fans like myself think that Nintendo should have stuck with Mario, Luigi, TOADSTOOL, (It's not Peach) Toad, and perhaps Yoshi, but only as a vehicle.

I feel that the new Mario games are great, but they don't have the same charm as before.

Before I watched this, it made me think that it was something like Super Mario Bros. 2 when you can select which character to play with. No really, I think it would be cool if they had Princess Daisy and Yoshi join Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Toodstool for a great video game adventure similar to Super Mario Bros 2. Perhaps Nintendo can make a Mario sidescrolling game just like S.M.B.2. Hopefully with more levels and more harder enemies then just the ostros and bosses like in S.M.B.2.
