You are right as to those 2 different situations. BUT, Jesus did NOT go around making people "fall out". He just didn't do it or tell any of His diciples to do it.
The Lord always told those he healed to "pick up thy bed and walk"!
I have felt the Spirit strong on me but it's an emotional release. These are not healings happening.
The man below was changed! But not because he "passed out"!! He simply let the Lord in his heart. No need of Benny for that!!
i passed out and I recieved the HOLY SPIRIT...ever since i feel comfortable going to church which i used to hate
i donate to the poor, i give to the lord, i fast, i can pray, and a lady advised me to go, and she said my life would never be the same, for i will recieve the HOLY SPIRT
she said it in a gentle voice, I know i will meet her in heaven, for it was not her who spoke but the spirit of our LOVING FATHER
when the guards came to arrest jesus, they asked where is jesus of nazereth when jesus responded I AM HE!! the bible said they all god knocked down. im not sure if they where slain in the spirit but they did get knocked down. being slain in the spirit is biblical.
2 Chronicles 5:14, John 18:6,Numbers 22:31,Ezekiel 43:2-3,Ezekiel 44:4, fell on there faces are you sure its a different situation? when the glory of god is so strong you lose all control and fall down. ive been slain in the spirit before and god ministerd to me,i am a quit shy person and my youth pastor told me to pray for this kid i had never met i hesitated for the above reasons, i laid my hands on him and started praying than bam! he hit the floor,i didnt know what had happened. totally god
@lori4him2 I know this is a late response but..The Holy Spirit came "after" Jesus. Jesus never spoke in tongues either right but if you read Acts you will see this. "He said Greater things You will do" remember? Any way the Bible even states there were too many things Jesus did to record. U will see or hear of many more signs and wonders that are not recorded in the Bible in days to come.. Love in Christ Jesus.

I love to worship God. I love my Jesus!! BUT this is not Biblicle. Jesus didn't knock people down! He lifted them.
NO ONE gets healed or anything else at these things. All they do is pass out...for what purpose? Tell me, show me....
Can't you see that this passing out and "floating" the "feelings" are just that, nothing more.

actually in John 18;6 a whole bunch of men fell down at Jesus' word.
And Revelation 1:17, John says he fell as a dead man. Falling like a dead man is different than just laying on the ground.

Hi, There is one or two examples of people getting "knocked down". BUT it was not a part of Jesus' daily ministry! It is NOT Biblical!!
What purpose does it serve? Also, anyone knocked down were told to get up!! Also the fell upon their faces. A totally different situation.
