real analogues are heavier to control than virtual ones. Once i thought i have a good knowledge of synths cause i can controll all my software and reaktor and that stuff....then i stood in front of a huge modular-synth on musikmesse and i barely got a sound out of it. It was just noise and i just couldn't control this fucking beast although i knew what the parameters meant....the beast fucked me right into the brain and spat me out like a newbie. :D

wow, Ozzy sure is mangling my father's invention. Dad designed the ARP 2600 the same year I was born, so I literally grew up listening to it. I didn't know Ozzy even had one, can't wait to tell dad, lol. He still has the original one, the one we always played with; it truly is a classic. Analog rules !

I grew up listening to it, dad is like a great big kid, always playing w/ sound & electricity... a true genius. I didn't see him for 16 yrs, but we found each other again 6 yrs ago, so I'm happy bout that. It makes me so proud to see so many people love this instrument! I will tell dad ur comment, it'll make his day; he's real sick now
