When I ride along Chapel Street in Melbourne, even though there is a bike lane, people (illegally) open their car doors and force me and my bike into the traffic. It ruins a nice ride to the gym.

the new jersey plates thing is SO TRUE! i like how chill mr. byrne is about that. it is infuriating to me. i guess i need to find more balance to not get upset all the time about the jersey cars almost killing me. almost every time i almost get killed by a car I look at the plates and guess what,,,, NEW JERSEY! ((or asian, sorry asians or african american women (the worst), sorry african american women!))

hehe i didnt watch it just for the bike ride, i think people walk in the road cos its maybe easier to see more things, i dunno, or perhaps just easier to walk without being packed into a sardine tin lol.... I watched it to see time square, ill never get to be there in my life time i wouldnt have thought, looks awsome.

Nice helmet cam, David! I've never seen so many people walking in a diamond lane. Why? The sidewalks look wide enough. Nice to see the city adopting bike lanes. Anyway, bring your bike up to Toronto and let's go riding along the lake sometime.

I have to say..... go ahead and get out into the road David. Let the pedestrians have the street if they like!  That means cars aren't there, great! It's safer for you out of the door zone anyway. Traffic is going pretty slow too, roll with 'em. Give the Peds the respect you'd like as a cyclist.

the first time I met David he rode up on a bike. he stopped took photos and was totally gracious. I got to tell him that he was a huge inspiration for me to become an artist. he rocks my world all the way around.
