I'm a PC gamer, and i'd really like to know what your loadout for Assault and Recon are, namely 3rd perk slot. I have a stupid amount of trouble choosing between magnum ammo and armor, mainly because i'm not an amazing player, and I rely too heavily on the extreme balance of either lots of damage, or less damage but taking a lot of bullets.

@coremanEXE If you find players before they find you/do a lot of flanking go with MA. If you play a less sneaky and a more defensive way go with BA (always go with body armor when you are a medic so that you can last longer suppressing enemy fire). Another thing is that if the map is close quarters you should choose BA since you will be engaging enemies frequently and half the time you will not engage them on your terms. Big map=MA so that you can increase the min damage at max range.

the thing i hate about bbc2 especially on oasis are the helicopter whores. they when ranking up must have been frustrated by the same kind of idiot gameplay. They are absolute and utter dicks.

Great vid, but you're wrong with Oasis. Those AA guns are extraordinarily powerful against the helis, I take them out in 4-5 bursts before the heli has any idea what hit it.

Thanks for the great commentary. I found that the new maps are over whelming and to large. Very Chaotic and unorgainzed. You really need to have serious team play when playing these maps. YOu have the DCRU to assist you but most of us common players have no one to depend but ourselves. Noone really does call outs or assists anyone. I feel its the COD Blackops syndrome right now.

Great overview of the new maps Stone. Oasis is such an awesome map, there is something for everyone on it. I love the way it flows form being a vehicle heavy map for the first two bases and finishes up as a close quarters map at the end.

You can play conquest on oasis, i think the flags are placed bad but overall the map is insane! Didnt really count but there is more than 20 houses! Its insane to play with a shotgun

Sqdm on oasis is set in the urban enviroments of the 4th and 5th bases, where you have at least 50 buildings, which is fuckin sweet!!

i honestly am getting no enjoyment out of these new maps simply because of the community. i havent won a defensive rush gave on the new maps out of lke 20 trys...its quite hard do defend when half your team is sitting on top of a roof with an assault rifle and not moving EVER. and another third sniping and the others getting raper beacuse its only 3 of them even trying. there are still TONS AND FUCKIN TONS of c4 whores and gustavers...so ya pretty self explanatory.

The only map i hate from this pack is Heavy Metal (love the other ones). why the fuck did they buff smoke countermeasures if they put this map after. The time you need to reload your tracer dart gun + the time for the dart to hit the vehicle is bigger than the time you need to spam smoke and if it wasn't enough there is two damn choppers on each side. well you can also use the AT4 standing with your rocket launcher for 5 sec to make it easier for the tank's MG.

Obviously Oasis and Harvest Day are my favorite because I'm a tank whore and a big BC1 player. I love how they incorporate all the elements of wide flanking routes and more focused infantry gameplay. And it brings back great memories jumping from roof top to roof top on the last two bases of Oasis. Good times. I'm still not sold on Cold War, but maybe with time. ;)
