Lightening is such an unlikable and mean character. I don't get why anyone likes her. I sure don't but that is just my opinion. Snow is just trying to help Serah. I like Snow and Sazh best so far. Lightening is just BLAH to me :P

@tozeyu She's still a bitch at the start and especially during the flashbacks. She did fuck all to help Serah when she needed it most, very cold to the others and pretty much blames everything on snow even though she's really to blame. At least Snow stood with Serah to the end, he was more of a family than Light ever was.

@rdgfrt14 people just don't like Snow for some random reason (apparently being hateful is FAR more exciting), so they always find some way to show why others should hate him and all. I don't know why. I like Snow! At least he's got sensible goals and isn't out to get anybody or anything. All he wants is to be with the person he loves. Why is that a problem for everybody?

@strangedaysfan Maybe they evny him...He is willing to fight for what he loves no matter what it takes. Some people hate that quality in a person cause they know they don't have it. Snow is one of my favorite characters. Nothing anyone says will change that. Sure he's a little corny sometimes, but I wish I had someone like him in my life.

@rdgfrt14 yeah, that's true. maybe the words "he's just annoying" are a cover for their real reasons. Besides, honestly...I find Snow a hell of a lot easier to deal with than Hope. GRARGH! I wanted to him myself half the time.

Sorry if you like Hope. He just aggravated me for a while in the game.

anyway, it only makes it worse with Hope due to him following, of all people, Lightning's example(s) and practically trying to emulate her. I don't dislike Lightning, but she and Hope were the hardest to warm up to in the beginning.

@strangedaysfan Yea, Lightning isn't a very good example. I got used to her after a while and she got nicer towards the end, losing the doom and gloom attitutde an all, but Hope is still the one I like the least.

Has anyone counted how many times Lightning assaults one of comrades throughout the entire game? I'm curious now. I think we've got 4 now, 3 Snow assaults and 1 black guy assault (well technically he touched her first but w/e). Am I missing any?

I love the detailed facial expressions throughout the game. I'm not picking on any of the characters so far because, although the script is a little icky sometimes (Snow mentioning Serah over and over, hopeless Hope), their faces show just how realistic (as realistic as you can get in a fantasy game, neh?) they are.

@beautifulpassion we call that the typical anime fanboy/girl. where characters are almost always static. Which is why I've mostly been interested in Western RPG's this generation. Though I have to say I just got into playing FF13 from a friend and I do miss the stylization of JRPG's some.

I would say he's a really boyscout character, as in always positive when things are obviously not going their way and he's actually predictable and cliche.

Its kinda hard to explain but he's character was pretty bland, Hopefully in the sequel he'll be more well-rounded.
