your instruments are really world-class, and needless to say the mechanism is perfect design (simple, useful, durable, AND visually pleasing) i have one question however, if the frets need changing, does the whole system need to me dismantled? and myself being in argentina, would i need to send it back to you in order for this to be done, or is it standard procedure?

Yes this idea was patented in 1981, inventor Martin Mouton, Patenet number 4,297,936. Since it has been 17 year since the patent, anyone can make these now...Frank
