I know exactly how you feel, and I have gotten into so many arguments with people close to me, but I just want them to know! Next time I get in an argument I will show the person one of your videos, thank you for being amazing and being yourself!
and to all the people bashing this lovely young woman who is stating the truth have no business doing so! When you drink milk, animal cruelty is happening, no one can deny it!
This makes me so sad. :( I'm a new vegan and I'm really passionate just like you but no one ever wants to listen to me and they get angry, and that hurts, I just want to let them know about it. Do you have any advice about having so much to say and people disliking you for it?
@shell123ey: I really admire your passion about what is happening to the world. There need to be more people who CARE.
Also to haters. Grow up, vegans/vegetarians are JUST as entitled to their opinions as you are. You can't talk about preaching when that's what you do when you find a vegetarian, YOU preach and bully out of ignorance, fear, spite and lack of understanding and tolerance. People will be nice to you if you just don't start fights. DUH.
I know what you mean. I watched Earthlings recently, I've been going out of my mind recently for the same reason as you. I live with my boyfriend and he flat out admits what he doesn't want to hear it. He tells me off if I even hint at something. You are not a coward...people who don't WANT to know are cowards. Lambing is as bad, my parents live near a farm and you can hear the mothers crying and calling for their lambs. One day there are heaps of lambs then they're gone.
just recently... my switch flipped. a month ago. I AM GOING INSANE.... but I feel so good join grocery shopping and choosing only fruits and veggies, but feel so awkward around the dead animal meat. I feel like I need to tell everybody... it is so painful. I keep watching more and more movies about this stuff, but have yet to watch earthlings because I know I will cry and cry and cry... like I did when I even saw the short video in Gary Yorofsky's" The Best Speech You will ever hear...*sigh*
I couldn't sleep, and then I tumbled upon your videos and I am so delighted that I have! To see someone who also feels so passionate about animal rights, and well being and yet how to so severely is affecting the human race and our planet simultaneously. . I just really like to see people who I hope will help to make a difference. Your videos are so well done and you are so pleasant! Please keep making more! I just want everyone to know what they are funding!
well maybe u need to grow a consciousness then, boring? ur a prick, the new earth will have no place for that kind of things in that video, you fnd that boring? wake the fuck up u ignorant twat, dont u see that this is killing the planet?
They argue with me and make stupid arguments to justify why it ok to eat meat and consume dairy. So, I was just wondering how do you deal with it? How can you continue to be friends with people who know what is happening but justify it so they don't have to change? How can I be friends with people who continue to willingly support what I am so strongly against? I love you video's because and I can see the hurt and sadness that you feel towards what is happening in the world.
@ecofighter63 Because there's nothing wrong with eating meat. Its our choice to eat meat. We couldn't give a damn if you agree with it or not. Its just food and if you choose some animal BS over friends then you will live a lonely life. I eat meat and animal products and have no sadness for the industry.
@lovebigboobs29 The question was not directed at you, but since you feel so inclined to comment I said they were making stupid arguments to justify there choices. If they could make arguments that were logical, such as nutritional and scientific evidence then fine. But they don't and nor can you. And it is not just your choice, the environmental impact of meat farming affects me, the subsidizing of the industry affects me. If meat will continue to be consumed, then it should be sustainable.
@ecofighter63 Well its still my choice and I don't care if you see it differently I still will do as I please. I agree with the subsidizing it makes meat nice and affordable as well. It won't ever change. Been like that forever :). So yes its my choice what I do with my money and my life!
@lovebigboobs29 Well, it is obvious that you do not know what you are talking about, farmers have not always been subsidized. You also have no understanding of economics. And, it will change, It already is! There is stronger lobbying for environmental regulations and more are being enforced every year. Also, the GREEN movement is the largest movement of our generation. Don't be surprised when the price rises! Paying the true price of meat will make everyone vegans and vegetarians!
@ecofighter63 ROFL well the meat and food is still cheap where I live. The Green movement is also dumb as hell. I will never support it. The whole global warming bs and shit.I still wont be vegan or vegetarian and no the prices of meat wont rise. They will still subsidize those. They make money off them as well :) and everyone pretty much in the higher government also eat meat. Actually they are cutting funds to environmental programs to lower deficit. Watch the news :)
@lovebigboobs29 Well, you are obviously ignorant because the price of meat has been rising steadily over the last decade. Food prices in general are rising it will lead to more local farmer markets. And more regulations have been put on emissions and ambient pollution. But, I am through with this argument because I will live on long and happy eating vegetables and you will develop heart disease and die while clutching your burger.
@ecofighter63 Actually it has not risen here. There's weekly sales and I spend the same amound as I have for yhears for meat and veggies. There's been no regulations on emissions in the state I live in either. Nice try but you are wrong.I will never develope heart disease from meat because that isn't the cause. Sorry you live in a crap state where they keep adding regulations lol
I am new to veganism, but I was a vegetarian for 4 years and one day I just decided to go vegan for a month. Along with being vegan I began to research into what it is to be a true vegan and why people make the choice and my whole world flipped after. Now that I have learned so much information about the food industry and all the atrocities that are committed towards animals everyday I want the world to know starting with my friends. But they don't listen.
I really like these ones of your videos when you are just honestly talking about your thoughts and feelings. I am 17 and vegan, ever since watching Earthlings. I made the transformation overnight and am so glad I did. I completely agree with you, people do not want to know. Even my own family. It's so frustrating. If I try to talk about it, my friends will actually put their fingers in their ears and hum to avoid hearing. How can they want to be so oblivious? I really admire you, thank you <3
@Shell123ey I absolutely love all of your videos! I'm somewhat new to veganism even though I've done it before for quite some time and fell off the wagon. I've never been a big time meat eater, but dairy products, yes. I'm so thankful that I came back to this place in my life but people do tend to argue you down that meat is good and I always get the argument of "Well they're gonna kill the animals anyway". Frustrating for sure. Keep up the good fight!
I'm already a vegetarian but I've been thinking about going vegan for a while. I tried once before and only manage to last a day! ... After watching this, I feel guilty. I mean, I act all high and mighty about animal welfare, yet happily scoff down chocolate and cakes without a second thought (although I do make sure the eggs are free range). I don't want to be a hypocryte and look the other way anymore - as so many others do with the meat industry. Maybe I'll give veganism another try...
Well, I was naive too, I thought animals were treated humanely, and sensible, respecting their natural instincts. Because afterall they're feeding us, they're clothing us. The least they could do, is give them a decent life, before they have to die, right....Nope. Unfortunately that's not the case. Just watch "Earthlings"....
I'm glad I've just turned vegan. The farming industry, in my country, is suffering a hard knock now, which I'm so happy about. It's like 30% or more, has gone veg.
I have a pet dog... And I do follow a very strict vegetarian diet, however, i buy my dog dog-food. And 100% of contains some sort of meet product. Does owning pets that eat meat and me having to buy them make me a hypocrite? It's not like I can give my dog a carrot and beans? I'm lost.
@SunBeamsan That's a tricky one, I hear you, I went vegan after already having cats and hard them to live vegan. I'd recommend searching out the most cruelty free companies you can but I have read dogs can live a vegetarian diet but I'd read a lot about it and discuss with your vet (:
@MalolaAnime Mum told me the stories about the cows when I asked about it, but she was a meat-eater at the time, and has never EVER encouraged me to eat less animal products. However, since I went Vegan, she's made the change too and is now healthier and feeling better than ever! :)
Your a great person, do you have any hints for me, I have been vegetarian for all my life, and I don't drink milk or eat cheese directly any more but do you have any advice how to stop indirectly consuming diary, how to make it easier because in allot of delicious things there is still a little bit of diary, probably its weak that I not just quit it, but I am a guy and guys are weaker when it comes to that kind of stuff :,( at least most are I guess.
I am a 37yr old man with woman and two children, I watched a few documentaries and then Earthlings, I cried like a baby. I tell my loved ones but they say don't push it on me,but I only want to show them the truth. Ignorance is their bliss. I have got to the point that the only way is extreme sutlely and slowly so they self discover, the same as religion.
@pcreane that isn't right to force that video on your family. As super animal drummer said the ends don't justify the means. That video is too biased and untruthful and they are disgusting. What is wrong with hunting, and eating meat when animals aren't that bright their lives are typically pretty miserable it sucks but that is life
@pcreane Or just mind your own business. Let people eat as they want. When I hear preachy vegetarians it makes the meat taste so much better to me. I wont quit eating meat no matter what vegetarians say.
People are so ignorant! We're not telling you 2 stop! We just want you and eveyone else 2 know what you're doing...and if u can still sleep at night knowing that innocent animals are being killed just to make your delicious hamburgers and chicken and whatever the hell else you eat that's unhealthy for you then that's on you. But dont go around saying its right and that we're are wrong because we're not. but it's not just our opinion IT'S A FACT.
@ripdannyfeliciano I sleep great at night and no its not wrong and yes it is your opinion. This is food nothing more to me. I live happlilly consuming as I please. My money will bujy whatever I choose.
Good on you for telling it like it is. You're so tactful and you state the facts about meat-eating and the diary industry so inoffensively. You didn't offend me. I'm going to watch all your vids and I subscribed.
Its a beautiful thing to hear to speak honestly about how you feel about this subject and you own up to your naivety. Very few people are born and raised vegan with no slip ups, so we all are accountable. People say terrible things about you; you just have to scroll down to look, but really the hate they feel is just their conscientiousness being challenged.
. . .but if you don't think it's my right to eat an animal that has no relationship with a person, that has been killed without fear or pain by a person who loves raising animals for whatever can be had from them without subjecting them to misery, you need to go spend some time with people living off the land. those who eat some, quality meats from wild-as-possible sources well couched in a veggi-based diet, will always be smarter and on-point than those who just rely on tofu and tvp. fuck that.
here, i agree with you. nobody's diet should be based on animal products. meat, dairy and eggs ought to be higher-quality, suffering-free, "recycle"-free, and necessarily more expensive. the monoculture exploitation of hyper-domestic breeds of only one species [of plant as well as animal] is and contributes to the worst of this cancer that western society has allowed in it's midst. You have to learn to compromise with carnivores though. I will support free-range competitors of factory farms.
Your videos don't make me angry. They made me ashamed. You pretty much single-handedly got me to stop drinking milk. And I'm glad that these are on youtube so, if I'm ever weak and want to slide into old, comfortable ways, I can watch you and remember why this change is good.
You're doing wonderful work here. I hope you keep it up.
is a free country and they should be allowed to live how they feel like without pressure in the rear from some stupid low class environmentalists. Rich retards who have nothing better to do in their lives than take away money from middle class citizens. I am a speciesist but animal rights activism is nazisism go figure
@iceman70028 Rich? I'm a musician who lives in Brooklyn. I'm practically at the bottom of the pile, dickhead. You 'walk with people that are clean cut?' You sound like a high schooler. You're an elitist prick, yet you try and bash me for being rich? You're contradictory within three sentences. Don't make this some victim plea for the animal workers. They are mostly immigrants, so you probably hate them anyway. Worker rights is ANOTHER problem with these farms. You have no idea of what you speak
@SuperAnimalDrummer I didn't bash you for being rich, I bashed you for being an hippie telling the world that they cannot eat meat and that they cannot hunt, fish or any of that crap. Its wrong to force veganism through law to help out the little animals and screw with peoples minds by giving them that video earthlings to pray on the weak minded to fall for that crap
@SuperAnimalDrummer hey i have seen many comments of this guy "iceman70028" he is spoiling the forum ,using bad grammar (lots of fucking mistakes) ..,using low level, shoddy and nonsense comments ..we should ban this bloody hunter.
Adolf Hitler was the first true animal rights activist that had these laws should we follow his footsteps and convert the human into an animal. I am getting tired of this crap, peace this is old
@SuperAnimalDrummer point is you treat animals better than people. since you distinguish the differences between humans and animals. Animals cannot hold pets and they cannot dictate their own environment. No matter what man dictates animals. Animals cannot be responsible for their own actions. Therefore their is a difference.
@SuperAnimalDrummer point is if you look at the views at many of the animal rights activists that humans are evil and need to be killed and them calling abortion pro choice instead of homicide. It sounds a lot like Adolf Hitler, especially when their are statements that the world's population should be taken down to a half billion
@iceman70028 Who cares about Hitler. Let it go. As a person, he has no relevance to this discussion. I don't treat animals better than people, I treat them the same, but to you that is blasphemy because you think humans are 'better' than animals, because we have pets and they don't. I don't know how to respond to this, quite honestly. Yes, we have come to e the dominant species, I won't argue, but again, "MIGHT DOES NOT MAKE RIGHT." It doesn't mean we throw ethics out the window.
@SuperAnimalDrummer ...hey i have seen many comments of this guy "iceman70028" he is spoiling the forum ,using bad grammar (lots of fucking mistakes) ..,using low level, shoddy and nonsense comments ..we should ban this bloody hunter.
@iceman70028 humans can be "evil", in other words, selfish, greedy, and uncaring for what they do to other beings, but also have the capacity to be selfless, altruistic, and loving... in other words, beautiful. It is a choice, and for you to defend the evil side of humanity, makes you a slave, sadly. It is actions that define a man or woman, and yours, by defending these evil activities of humans, show you to be an insensitive, uncaring person. It is unfortunate that you see things this way.
@SuperAnimalDrummer Ok what makes a person evil its by there actions and you cannot come up with one evil action that is taken with hunting, slaughterhouses, fur trade and others. They are men of the earth making food and clothing. The animal rights activists are very judgemental type of people toward hunters, and fur traders. I don't want them around my kids. No not one part of me feels sorry for the animals.
@iceman70028 I can say the entire fur and factory farming industry is evil, inherently. Treating beautiful creatures with a complete lack of respect, and subjecting to a fear-filled, torturous life form start until death, and it something you would never wish upon yourself or your children, yet because it is an animal, it is okay. Get fucking real asshole.
@SuperAnimalDrummer so you can't find one reason for why it is wrong. The animals are our food, or our fur. The farms are running a business and doing business at that proportion isn't pretty. Again you haven't come up with a reason why they are evil. The factory farming industry is just doing what they are doing to make a living and they put food on the table its more than what most people can say. I would be proud if I owned the business to say I feed Americans
@iceman70028 debeaking, cutting off ears, tails, teeth, and castration all done without anasthetic, pigs being boiled alive, chickens being boiled alive, cows skinned alive, animals confined to such tight quarters so as to deny them ALL natural urges, animals living in fear from birth until death, ripping a calf from its mother directly after birth and if it is male gets auctioned off to a veal farm to be shackled for six weeks until slaughter... I could go on.
@SuperAnimalDrummer then you don't protest to quit killing the animals you protest the farmers on how they kill them. I figured they know more than I do about the subject because they do it themselves. If you are not going to kill the animals yourself and show them how to be humane then you are just yapping because they have no rights. Animal Rights activists are the scariest part of this country and they give the muslims another reason to hate us
@iceman70028 of course it is about how these animals are both treated while they are alive, and HOW they are killed, which usually results in a torturous death (and life) for the animals. This is a by-product of maximizing profit and attempt to achieve extremely high -levels of output using animals as commodities, as if they were producing inanimate objects. We do know why they are doing it: to increase profit by cutting costs in an attempt to achieve 'economies of scale.' it is all economics.
@iceman70028 this is all allowed by consumer demand. ignorant consumers who would otherwise never want to treat a living being the way they are treated in factory farms, actually support these farms because they simply do not know, including, as it seem, you. no offense. animal agriculture is run by four major corporations. %99 of all animals used for animal products come from factory farms. They have an economic incentive to produce like this. It is however, unethical, and must stop. Integrity
@iceman70028 I must emphasize that their is a very easily understandable reason about why they do it: economic efficiency. They have an incentive to produce on such a large scale is because of 'economies of scale,' which is an economic principle that says that when you expand the output of an operation, to a point, the Average cost per unit of production will go down. I was an economics major in college. I don't want to open up my own farm and kill things.
@SuperAnimalDrummer ok, they feed their families with the money they make, if I could open up my own farm like that, I would. I don't care how the corporations work. I will run things the most efficient money making way possible. I majored in mathematics, and trade stocks for a living, I don't care how things are done. Why should Americans eat dog crap ( vegan food ) for your ego trippish love for animals. It is impossible to put animals on a higher petestal you are just dragging down
@iceman70028 Who feeds their families? Those at the top? Please. They buy yachts. Don't talk about or appeal to my sympathies when talking about those running multi-national corporations. That you don't care how things are done is why you are in stocks. You place efficiency over real effects. Economic efficiency is the not the pinnacle of human thought, because it often requires the trade-off of ethical behavior. If the commodity were not living, I might agree. But in this industry, it is.
@SuperAnimalDrummer human rights. By calling a human an animal you already degraded them. By saying that you would fight for an animal vs. a baby is putting human life below animal life. its amazing how one movie which is so slanted can screw with peoples way of thinking
@iceman70028 And we should fucking respect living creatures as having more worth than simply being cogs in our economic models. Humans are animals. That is a biological fact. Speciesism at its finest with you...
@SuperAnimalDrummer I am a speciest, I stand behind those statements. The people on the top earned their money, if you want that money you have to find a product that sells to make that money. Well I looked at your living and noticed you were part of a band that was giving out Earthlings video. That is pretty dirty giving away that video, the people that I work with are solid professionals and that business is serious. The people that you support will protest wallstreet without a purpose.
@SuperAnimalDrummer They will sit there and do violent things in protests, like they had to arrest those people protesting wallstreet. I walk with people that are clean cut and you don't. That is what I call lower class. I don't have a problem with the people that work in these factories were they make food for us. I have problems with the jerks that protest their way of living. It has been said that people should not have to kill for their food, heck with it if they enjoy their work this
@58mohit you misspelled jerk. You need to be corrected because there aren't much worse things than butchering English on this planet, you need to thank me
@iceman70028 ,hey..at least you should use correct grammar ..check your previous comment...huh ,teaching me how to use English... doesn't make any sense whatever you wrote...and you are a native speaker lol
@58mohit have you watched shelleys ( her name isn't worth spelling right ) videos. One is called Legal Drive-by shootings. She called hunting a drive by shooting. These are the type of cowards you are supporting. I thought I would let you know that
@58mohit yeah since I became an animal rights activist I am no longer a racist. ( another one of her stupid non intelligent videos.) Funny thing her views go more along the lines of Adolf Hitler with animal rights and I am more the American side.
@SuperAnimalDrummer Their processes have reasons that we don't know why they are doing it, open your own business and kill the animals more humanely than they do at the same rate, and stay in business at the same time
@SuperAnimalDrummer Even though my country is in a mess as is, and does many stupid things ( i.e. look at my president ), if I owned a business like factory farming i put food on the plate for Americans.
If you feel cowardly 4 paying someone 2 kill ur animal 4 you then you need a psychiatric. Do you feel cowardly for paying someone else to: 1) drill for ur oil, 2) build your skyscrapers, 3) build ur roadways & bridges, 4) provide for ur military protection, 5) put out ur fires (fire department) and develop push button technologies that make ur life more survivable. I agree that animals should be treated and fed in a way that's Godly. I stop at ur message of not eating meat 2 make u happy.
@eweutuberider if you agree that animals should be treated in a way that is 'godly' then how can you also insult her by saying needs a psychiatrist for feeling cowardly, ashamed, or guilty for paying corporations to factory farm animals, which results in inhumane and torturous treatment for millions of animals a year? there is a sharp distinction between paying someone to birth, raise, handle, milk, and kill living beings and paying someone to build, handle, extract, quell inanimate objects.
@SuperAnimalDrummer1) Because her lame attempt at sarcasm assumes that meat eaters feel cowardly for having someone else kill their meat. I'm saying that the Godly way to treat animals is to feed them properly and to keep them out of cages. The men that died to bring those inanimate objects to this woman are not inanimate objects, they
are human lives. If I should feel like a coward for not killing my own meat, she should feel like a coward for not drilling her own oil etc
@eweutuberider further, she is not commenting on anyone but herself and her own reaction to the reality of factory farming, as shown in Earthlings. her only remark about others was how self-inhibited they are in learning about factory farming, and their averse reaction to her when she prompts them to learn about it themselves, which, everyone SHOULD. you're negative evaluation of her is completely unwarranted, in my opinion, as she does nothing to deserve such insults. she is a brave human.
@SuperAnimalDrummer Are u really this stupid? She is using metaphorical speech in some lame attempt 2 shame meat eaters from abstaining from the practice. She is POSING as a meat eater who is wrestling with the COWARDLINESS of having someone else kill HER meat. The message I get from her is that if she hunted or farmed & slaughtered her own meat, she wouldn't feel like a coward. SOLUTION: She needs 2 buy a shotgun, farm & seek psychiatric care 4 feeling remorseful about an everyday practice!
@eweutuberider she is not using metaphorical speech and not posing as a meat-eater. Where are you getting this from? she is speaking honestly, as herself, after having come upon the information in the documentary Earthlings, and speaking through her experience of integrating this information. I wouldn't be calling anyone stupid if I were you. I suggest you watch it again. This time, don't be an asshole.
@SuperAnimalDrummer 2) Her stupid childish sarcasm contradicts itself because it assumes that hunters are brave justifiable meat eaters for killing their own meat.
.Which leaves a huge hole in her argument for vegetarianism and vegan-ism. She sounds like a self deluded self righteous feminist spoiled brat who thinks she can talk down to people like she is their controlling mother.
.If you want to end animal cruelty by farmers, I'm with ya. That does not = to me giving up my delicious meat!!
@eweutuberider actually, the only way to end animal cruelty is to give up your delicious meat, by the laws of supply and demand... there is no sarcasm here. just facts and the emotional reaction to the information found in the documentary Earthlings. if you are not aware of this documentary, I suggest you watch it before you criticize others who have. search it in the youtube search bar. it is free.
As a vegan even I can honestly say until just seeing this I have never realized the correlation between the veal and dairy industries!! Horrifying revelation, I will definitely be watching Earthlings, thank you.
I agree with you completely. Just saw Earthling today myself. What a total game changer. I have seen clips here and there in various documentaries and lectures but nothing so complete and comprehensive as this.
It is like, once you see it, there can be no denying. What one does from that point on may be another matter but you can never claim ignorance after viewing this!
"Vegan 2012"- At the top of my list of resolutions.
It annoys me when I try to have a debate on the topic of animal rights with others, most people just don't want to hear it, they end the conversation ASAP so as to avoid the truth.
This is ridiculous PETA and the humane society have killed more animals than I have had, at least I had the diginity to eat the animal when I was done.
I'm worried it'll take 100-150 years for animal liberation to be complete but I think its near-certain that animal liberation is the right option and furthermore once technology progresses and change occurs (which it obviously will) society will evolve and more moral truths will emerge, so it should someday happen that animals will gain rights in accordance to how we humans treat them and eventually to how all species treat one another, nowadays we can work hard to make this time closer.
@somewhereatsea1 Unconsciousley the Animal Eaters know that they eat the wrong piece of Nature.Supressing it is the only Truth they have. But I am glad that you are a Neurologist obviousley, otherwise you could not diagnosed her as "insane".But wait...isnt it a transfusion of your own state of Mind ? I think so...If you have no Humor, you will get your Tumor :)
Listen to Dr.Brian Clement if you have your Ears not only to hear your own Meatfarts.
Shelley, you're so sweet. One of my goals is to convert someone, or hopefully more, to go vegan. Vegetarian would be a huge step, but vegan would be perfect.
I don't understand why there are so many haters leaving such Nasty comments. If you don't agree then fine that's your opinion but don't make judgements about someone you don't even know, it really shows your immaturity and naivety to act in that way.
@iceman70028 well we kill animals to get our vegetables, ( plowing fields crushes animals and destroys habitats. ) Steel comes from killing animals ( I am sure they kill animals and wreck animals habitats by doing that ) so veganism kills animals and the materials you get for just about everything kills an animal. So why bother wasting our time with this when we could be making progress with people that are poor
@iceman70028 Yes, as species, we compete with other species. And as a result, one may get the short end of the stick, but it doesn't have to be as harmful and needless as it is now. With animal farms, we actually use a great amount of plant-based food that could be used to feed the starving many times over. In developed countries definitely, we have the ability to survive with little or no animal based foods. Instead of just pointing out the bad, try finding a solution as well. :/
@abcdefwoo1234 Peta and the humane society kills 80 percent of the animals they take in, I hunt and I don't kill as many animals as they do and I actually use them for food, I am a better steward than they are, it proves that animal rights are impossible
@iceman70028 If they kill 80% of the animals they take in? Okay. What made you think that I support those entities. I support no kill shelters and pet owners to have their pets spayed/neutered. If you hunt and that's the only way you get your meat, good on you. At least you don't separate yourself from the process and own up to the blood on your hands. And ANYTHING is possible if you keep on trying. Besides what humans do now, we always pay for later. Be it wars, sex. or nutrition.
@abcdefwoo1234 the point is veganism is unhealthy and if the biggest animal rights activists have to resort to killing animals, they are the pinnacle of animal rights its not possible to not kill them. The danger is turning the human into an animal and giving animal rights brings human's down to the animals level. This happened in nazi germany ( I am not calling anyone a nazi this is just historical ) then the Jews got destroyed
@iceman70028 1.) veganism is not unhealthy. quite the opposite, it is far more healthy than an omnivorous diet, shown to reverse cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. 2.) you have committed (Shelley you'll be proud) the Tu Quoque Fallacy, whereby because you perceive a flaw in an animal rights organization's methods or activities, you consider yourself completely off the hook from having to make any effort yourself, and have deemed any animal rights efforts made by anyone to be invalid. shocking.
@SuperAnimalDrummer off the hook for what, I am not doing anything wrong, and eating animals and using them for fur is morally correct. If you think its wrong why is it wrong.
@iceman70028 in your opinion, using them for food and fur is morally correct, but in order maintain that position and consider yourself a moral person, I believe you must keep yourself ignorant of the process that is undertaken to produce food and fur. it is torture of the highest order, forced upon another sentient being with individual desires and interests, separate from our own. how can you consider this moral? do you consider slavery moral? was the nazi treatment of the jews moral?
@SuperAnimalDrummer Ok, the Nazis outlawed vivisection and started experimenting on the Jews. Animals are our food. The slavery comment goes ....... I watched Earthlings and was unmoved and swung even further against animal rights. Our country says save the wales but kill the baby ( abortion ). Hitler outlawed hunting so they could disempower the people. Take the guns away from the people they can do whatever they want, except no one has the guts to stand up to animal rights activists.
@iceman70028 For the Nazi's, you don't need animal subjects when you have human subjects. Hitler didn't outlaw vivisection, he performed it on pregnant women. Slavery is bondage. I think we should definitely save a full grown being, over one still barely developed in the womb, that doesn't know it exists it, and doesn't feel pain, because it doesn't have a brain. animals rights activists treat all animals with the same respect. humans are animals too. this is the way it should be.
@SuperAnimalDrummer really, if humans are animals, isn't human rights and animal rights the same thing, or can an animal be tried for a crime, ever. The pro-choice arguement is ridiculous of course you save a baby in the womb before you save an animal. Its common sense. Can an animal have a pet of course not. So humans are not animals by your logic. Animals are not the ones debating over animal rights humans are. Again seperating the differences between animals and humans. The differences
@SuperAnimalDrummer are we have acountability and we are to take care of them first before an animal which doesn't care about us or others. So the question of the day do you support aborting animals in their mothers womb and if you don't why not
@iceman70028 humans are animals. animal rights simply says all beings are created equal and deserve respect as such, not to be subjugated to arbitrary human interests that consider nothing for the animals. I am pro-choice, so I disagree with much of what you say. why would an animal want or need a pet? that doesn't make sense. we don't need animals to 'care' about us, either, so I don't understand the relevance of this point. why would an animal want an abortion?!
@iceman70028 fur animals are often skinned alive, as are cows in factory farms in America who were not stunned properly. Please, explain to me how this is in any way moral. I will assume you are basing your argument on evolutionary grounds, or some kind of naturalism, which bears no resemblance to the cost-cutting, profit-seeking economic paradigms of today which treat animals as commodities without pain receptors.
@iceman70028 Right now, industries have fucked up policies in place by which almost all food nutritional value has dropped and risks have increased. Especially the risks in animal products because our digestive system, better equipped to a plant based diet, rings out the most nutrients it can get. Unlike the shorter digestive tracts for mainly carnivorous animals which give less surface area to absorb all that cholesterol and saturated fat. As for health, just Wikipedia veganism & vegetarianism.
@iceman70028 As for animal right's bringing US down, that is idiotic. We'd be bringing THEM UP to a better state of life and treatment. And if you believe that comparison had any MAJOR role in the holocaust, it was more for social acceptance than anything else...wow...just wow..I mean, it happened and is still pretty common in schools and towards overweight people for sure. And just because some people screw up causes doesn't make it okay and it doesn't mean others can't do better.
@abcdefwoo1234 But the animals are our food, they don't mind being our food. They make food of each other. If you are not an intellegant being your life proally will suck.
Dear insane liar bitch- practice what you preach and since you think animals have more right to life then men, kill yourself immediately coward practice what you preach. Not only would your crazy ass being dead be great for enviroment and save water air landfill space for sane humans, one less animal worshipping lying insane bitch would be best thing for hman race possible. Shut fuck up liar crazy bitch.
Would you kiss your mother with that mouth? Sheesh, you're certainly not going to gain much followers with THAT kind of refined and logical language. You maybe want to work on that.
@somewhereatsea1 That was probably the most idiotic, hilarious and ironic comment I've read on Youtube this week; and I read a lot of Youtube comments. Well done :)
stupid crazy liar bitch. I can literally prove every word she says is complete lie and P.E.T.A. propaganda. It has now become my lifes mission to do exactly what these sick liar crazy animal worshipping sicko-s have been up too, and go on every video and speak but the differance is mine will be sane and true. Like here's some truth for starters= YOU ARE A SICK MENTALLY DERRANGED LIAR BITCH NUTCASE. Fuck you bitch get off tube you piece of filthy shit insane bitch.
@somewhereatsea1 Here is a beautiful example of a deranged anti-Vegan. Careful kids, don't get too close. She bites, cusses, and shouts deranged sayings that no-one takes seriously. Behold her, in her natural habitat!
@iceman70028 The good news is that humans have the capacity for compassion and can stop this evil atrocity. But, alas, capacity and realization are not the same thing.
I feel like this everyday. We're not trying to shame people. We're just trying to educate and help bring change for the better. You're not alone, as I can see from all the comments. I admire you so much for speaking out. Thank you.
For all the hateful, ignorant people who comment on here, you make me sad to be human.
@MrAdamvdb Yes, you are right. Educating those in the matters of meat is important. Veganism/Vegetarianism is compassionism. Create and join a vegetarian nation. Check out this video. I titled it Is eating meat primitive? /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM
this bat shit crazy mentally ill peta lunatic is liar and nut job. earthlings like all peta productions are 100% lies and peta specializes in deception and lies they use footage decades old of abolished practises that do not exist anymore and havent for decades or from third world countrys using methods do not exist in usa etc or by combing 100s of thousands of farms for decades all over globe to find few attrocities abuse etc then lie and say this is what happens every farm every minute100%lies
she is stone cold liar every word either her own lies and lunacy or copied from petas lies every numberstatement % every word is bullshit and for example claiming to be vegan for health reasons which she did many times instead of truth that its the killing not the eating she hates. she and all her kind are mentally ill and liars or peta puppets and should be and would been locked away in asylum every year prior to late 70s. she oonly has any views cuz is blonde if didnt speak would get moreviews
The suffering is real. It's not staged and it does happen often. I know because I actually worked at a chicken farm for one day as a child (I didn't want to). The tractors ran over baby chicks. Half squished baby chicks on the ground laying there half alive half dead. They threw them around like they were toys. They were cramped. No windows. It smelled like terrible urine - we had to wear face masks. And this was a "small family farm" but they sold to big name companies.
I saw it too and I reckon its a matter of just doing what you can. I've stopped eating meat and am trying to limit dairy etc. But, our society is a capitalist consumer based machine that everyone is hooked into. Changing it isn't really possible from one persons actions, but if you lead by example (not protesting) by simple living the way you work out is best, you may just impart some of your wisdom onto others. If you try to forceably tell people things they usually don't want to listen.
@slimakaphatj1 Doing what you have done is more than most already, every little bit helps.... I know its frustrating sometimes bc people don't want to hear anything but good things about their bad habits...but maybe going about it in the manner you have said would help us, I will try that :D It's just so hard not to tell people about this lifestyle when you feel so amazing, I feel bad keeping it to myself. Also when my head hits the pillow at night I have a clear conscious like never before :D
@ZachandBailey1111 Veganism/Vegetarianism rules you have a great point. Perhaps its the eaters guilty conscious. Check out my videos /watch?v=WWMnscY04AY

This was a featured video and of course I don't own it.

DUH.
mrskayleighd 6 days ago
@shell123ey:
One day there are heaps of lambs then they're gone.
mrskayleighd 6 days ago
just recently... my switch flipped. a month ago.

I love you video's because and I can see the hurt and sadness that you feel towards what is happening in the world.
ecofighter63 1 week ago
@ecofighter63 Because there's nothing wrong with eating meat. Its our choice to eat meat. We couldn't give a damn if you agree with it or not. Its just food and if you choose some animal BS over friends then you will live a lonely life. I eat meat and animal products and have no sadness for the industry.
lovebigboobs29 1 week ago
@lovebigboobs29 The question was not directed at you, but since you feel so inclined to comment I said they were making stupid arguments to justify there choices. If they could make arguments that were logical, such as nutritional and scientific evidence then fine. But they don't and nor can you. And it is not just your choice, the environmental impact of meat farming affects me, the subsidizing of the industry affects me. If meat will continue to be consumed, then it should be sustainable.
ecofighter63 6 days ago
@ecofighter63 Well its still my choice and I don't care if you see it differently I still will do as I please. I agree with the subsidizing it makes meat nice and affordable as well. It won't ever change. Been like that forever :). So yes its my choice what I do with my money and my life!
lovebigboobs29 6 days ago
@lovebigboobs29 Well, it is obvious that you do not know what you are talking about, farmers have not always been subsidized. You also have no understanding of economics. And, it will change, It already is! There is stronger lobbying for environmental regulations and more are being enforced every year. Also, the GREEN movement is the largest movement of our generation. Don't be surprised when the price rises! Paying the true price of meat will make everyone vegans and vegetarians!
ecofighter63 5 days ago
@ecofighter63 ROFL well the meat and food is still cheap where I live. The Green movement is also dumb as hell. I will never support it. The whole global warming bs and shit.I still wont be vegan or vegetarian and no the prices of meat wont rise. They will still subsidize those. They make money off them as well :) and everyone pretty much in the higher government also eat meat. Actually they are cutting funds to environmental programs to lower deficit. Watch the news :)
lovebigboobs29 5 days ago
@lovebigboobs29 Well, you are obviously ignorant because the price of meat has been rising steadily over the last decade. Food prices in general are rising it will lead to more local farmer markets. And more regulations have been put on emissions and ambient pollution. But, I am through with this argument because I will live on long and happy eating vegetables and you will develop heart disease and die while clutching your burger.
ecofighter63 5 days ago

But they don't listen.
ecofighter63 1 week ago

It's like 30% or more, has gone veg.

. . .but if you don't think it's my right to eat an animal that has no relationship with a person, that has been killed without fear or pain by a person who loves raising animals for whatever can be had from them without subjecting them to misery, you need to go spend some time with people living off the land. those who eat some, quality meats from wild-as-possible sources well couched in a veggi-based diet, will always be smarter and on-point than those who just rely on tofu and tvp. fuck that.
nerdyharry 1 month ago
here, i agree with you. nobody's diet should be based on animal products. meat, dairy and eggs ought to be higher-quality, suffering-free, "recycle"-free, and necessarily more expensive. the monoculture exploitation of hyper-domestic breeds of only one species [of plant as well as animal] is and contributes to the worst of this cancer that western society has allowed in it's midst. You have to learn to compromise with carnivores though. I will support free-range competitors of factory farms.

Yes, we have come to e the dominant species, I won't argue, but again, "MIGHT DOES NOT MAKE RIGHT." @iceman70028 humans can be "evil", in other words, selfish, greedy, and uncaring for what they do to other beings, but also have the capacity to be selfless, altruistic, and loving... in other words, beautiful. It is a choice, and for you to defend the evil side of humanity, makes you a slave, sadly. It is actions that define a man or woman, and yours, by defending these evil activities of humans, show you to be an insensitive, uncaring person. It is unfortunate that you see things this way.
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer Ok what makes a person evil its by there actions and you cannot come up with one evil action that is taken with hunting, slaughterhouses, fur trade and others. They are men of the earth making food and clothing. The animal rights activists are very judgemental type of people toward hunters, and fur traders. I don't want them around my kids. No not one part of me feels sorry for the animals.
iceman70028 1 month ago
@iceman70028 I can say the entire fur and factory farming industry is evil, inherently. Treating beautiful creatures with a complete lack of respect, and subjecting to a fear-filled, torturous life form start until death, and it something you would never wish upon yourself or your children, yet because it is an animal, it is okay. Get fucking real asshole.
SuperAnimalDrummer 1 month ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer so you can't find one reason for why it is wrong. The animals are our food, or our fur. The farms are running a business and doing business at that proportion isn't pretty. Again you haven't come up with a reason why they are evil. The factory farming industry is just doing what they are doing to make a living and they put food on the table its more than what most people can say. I would be proud if I owned the business to say I feed Americans
iceman70028 1 month ago
@iceman70028 debeaking, cutting off ears, tails, teeth, and castration all done without anasthetic, pigs being boiled alive, chickens being boiled alive, cows skinned alive, animals confined to such tight quarters so as to deny them ALL natural urges, animals living in fear from birth until death, ripping a calf from its mother directly after birth and if it is male gets auctioned off to a veal farm to be shackled for six weeks until slaughter... I could go on.
SuperAnimalDrummer 1 month ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer then you don't protest to quit killing the animals you protest the farmers on how they kill them. I figured they know more than I do about the subject because they do it themselves. If you are not going to kill the animals yourself and show them how to be humane then you are just yapping because they have no rights. Animal Rights activists are the scariest part of this country and they give the muslims another reason to hate us
iceman70028 1 month ago
@iceman70028 of course it is about how these animals are both treated while they are alive, and HOW they are killed, which usually results in a torturous death (and life) for the animals. This is a by-product of maximizing profit and attempt to achieve extremely high -levels of output using animals as commodities, as if they were producing inanimate objects. We do know why they are doing it: to increase profit by cutting costs in an attempt to achieve 'economies of scale.' it is all economics.
SuperAnimalDrummer 1 month ago

SuperAnimalDrummer 1 month ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer ok, they feed their families with the money they make, if I could open up my own farm like that, I would. I don't care how the corporations work. I will run things the most efficient money making way possible. I majored in mathematics, and trade stocks for a living, I don't care how things are done. Why should Americans eat dog crap ( vegan food ) for your ego trippish love for animals. It is impossible to put animals on a higher petestal you are just dragging down
iceman70028 1 month ago
@iceman70028 Who feeds their families? Those at the top? Please. They buy yachts. Don't talk about or appeal to my sympathies when talking about those running multi-national corporations. That you don't care how things are done is why you are in stocks. You place efficiency over real effects. Economic efficiency is the not the pinnacle of human thought, because it often requires the trade-off of ethical behavior. If the commodity were not living, I might agree. But in this industry, it is.
SuperAnimalDrummer 1 month ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer human rights. By calling a human an animal you already degraded them. By saying that you would fight for an animal vs. a baby is putting human life below animal life. its amazing how one movie which is so slanted can screw with peoples way of thinking
iceman70028 1 month ago
@iceman70028 And we should fucking respect living creatures as having more worth than simply being cogs in our economic models. Humans are animals. That is a biological fact. Speciesism at its finest with you...
SuperAnimalDrummer 1 month ago

I stop at ur message of not eating meat 2 make u happy.
eweutuberider 2 months ago
@eweutuberider if you agree that animals should be treated in a way that is 'godly' then how can you also insult her by saying needs a psychiatrist for feeling cowardly, ashamed, or guilty for paying corporations to factory farm animals, which results in inhumane and torturous treatment for millions of animals a year? there is a sharp distinction between paying someone to birth, raise, handle, milk, and kill living beings and paying someone to build, handle, extract, quell inanimate objects.
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer1) Because her lame attempt at sarcasm assumes that meat eaters feel cowardly for having someone else kill their meat. I'm saying that the Godly way to treat animals is to feed them properly and to keep them out of cages. The men that died to bring those inanimate objects to this woman are not inanimate objects, they
are human lives. If I should feel like a coward for not killing my own meat, she should feel like a coward for not drilling her own oil etc
eweutuberider 2 months ago
@eweutuberider further, she is not commenting on anyone but herself and her own reaction to the reality of factory farming, as shown in Earthlings. her only remark about others was how self-inhibited they are in learning about factory farming, and their averse reaction to her when she prompts them to learn about it themselves, which, everyone SHOULD. you're negative evaluation of her is completely unwarranted, in my opinion, as she does nothing to deserve such insults. she is a brave human.
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer Are u really this stupid? She is using metaphorical speech in some lame attempt 2 shame meat eaters from abstaining from the practice. She is POSING as a meat eater who is wrestling with the COWARDLINESS of having someone else kill HER meat. The message I get from her is that if she hunted or farmed & slaughtered her own meat, she wouldn't feel like a coward. SOLUTION: She needs 2 buy a shotgun, farm & seek psychiatric care 4 feeling remorseful about an everyday practice!
eweutuberider 2 months ago
@eweutuberider she is not using metaphorical speech and not posing as a meat-eater. Where are you getting this from? she is speaking honestly, as herself, after having come upon the information in the documentary Earthlings, and speaking through her experience of integrating this information. I wouldn't be calling anyone stupid if I were you. I suggest you watch it again. This time, don't be an asshole.

@SuperAnimalDrummer How can she be speaking as herself when she is not even a meat eater? Hello!!!!
eweutuberider 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer 2) Her stupid childish sarcasm contradicts itself because it assumes that hunters are brave justifiable meat eaters for killing their own meat.
.Which leaves a huge hole in her argument for vegetarianism and vegan-ism. She sounds like a self deluded self righteous feminist spoiled brat who thinks she can talk down to people like she is their controlling mother.
.If you want to end animal cruelty by farmers, I'm with ya. That does not = to me giving up my delicious meat!!
eweutuberider 2 months ago
@eweutuberider actually, the only way to end animal cruelty is to give up your delicious meat, by the laws of supply and demand... there is no sarcasm here. just facts and the emotional reaction to the information found in the documentary Earthlings. if you are not aware of this documentary, I suggest you watch it before you criticize others who have. search it in the youtube search bar. it is free.

So why bother wasting our time with this when we could be making progress with people that are poor
iceman70028 2 months ago
@iceman70028 Yes, as species, we compete with other species. And as a result, one may get the short end of the stick, but it doesn't have to be as harmful and needless as it is now. With animal farms, we actually use a great amount of plant-based food that could be used to feed the starving many times over. In developed countries definitely, we have the ability to survive with little or no animal based foods. Instead of just pointing out the bad, try finding a solution as well. :/
abcdefwoo1234 2 months ago
@abcdefwoo1234 Peta and the humane society kills 80 percent of the animals they take in, I hunt and I don't kill as many animals as they do and I actually use them for food, I am a better steward than they are, it proves that animal rights are impossible
iceman70028 2 months ago
@iceman70028 If they kill 80% of the animals they take in? Okay. What made you think that I support those entities. I support no kill shelters and pet owners to have their pets spayed/neutered. If you hunt and that's the only way you get your meat, good on you. At least you don't separate yourself from the process and own up to the blood on your hands. And ANYTHING is possible if you keep on trying. Besides what humans do now, we always pay for later. Be it wars, sex. or nutrition.
abcdefwoo1234 2 months ago
@abcdefwoo1234 the point is veganism is unhealthy and if the biggest animal rights activists have to resort to killing animals, they are the pinnacle of animal rights its not possible to not kill them. The danger is turning the human into an animal and giving animal rights brings human's down to the animals level. This happened in nazi germany ( I am not calling anyone a nazi this is just historical ) then the Jews got destroyed
iceman70028 2 months ago
@iceman70028 1.) veganism is not unhealthy. quite the opposite, it is far more healthy than an omnivorous diet, shown to reverse cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. 2.) you have committed (Shelley you'll be proud) the Tu Quoque Fallacy, whereby because you perceive a flaw in an animal rights organization's methods or activities, you consider yourself completely off the hook from having to make any effort yourself, and have deemed any animal rights efforts made by anyone to be invalid. shocking.
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer off the hook for what, I am not doing anything wrong, and eating animals and using them for fur is morally correct. If you think its wrong why is it wrong.
iceman70028 2 months ago
@iceman70028 in your opinion, using them for food and fur is morally correct, but in order maintain that position and consider yourself a moral person, I believe you must keep yourself ignorant of the process that is undertaken to produce food and fur. it is torture of the highest order, forced upon another sentient being with individual desires and interests, separate from our own. how can you consider this moral? do you consider slavery moral? was the nazi treatment of the jews moral?
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer Ok, the Nazis outlawed vivisection and started experimenting on the Jews. Animals are our food. The slavery comment goes ....... I watched Earthlings and was unmoved and swung even further against animal rights. Our country says save the wales but kill the baby ( abortion ). Hitler outlawed hunting so they could disempower the people. Take the guns away from the people they can do whatever they want, except no one has the guts to stand up to animal rights activists.
iceman70028 2 months ago
@iceman70028 For the Nazi's, you don't need animal subjects when you have human subjects. Hitler didn't outlaw vivisection, he performed it on pregnant women. Slavery is bondage. I think we should definitely save a full grown being, over one still barely developed in the womb, that doesn't know it exists it, and doesn't feel pain, because it doesn't have a brain. animals rights activists treat all animals with the same respect. humans are animals too. this is the way it should be.
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer really, if humans are animals, isn't human rights and animal rights the same thing, or can an animal be tried for a crime, ever. The pro-choice arguement is ridiculous of course you save a baby in the womb before you save an animal. Its common sense. Can an animal have a pet of course not. So humans are not animals by your logic. Animals are not the ones debating over animal rights humans are. Again seperating the differences between animals and humans. The differences
iceman70028 2 months ago
@SuperAnimalDrummer are we have acountability and we are to take care of them first before an animal which doesn't care about us or others. So the question of the day do you support aborting animals in their mothers womb and if you don't why not
iceman70028 2 months ago
@iceman70028 humans are animals. animal rights simply says all beings are created equal and deserve respect as such, not to be subjugated to arbitrary human interests that consider nothing for the animals. I am pro-choice, so I disagree with much of what you say. why would an animal want or need a pet? that doesn't make sense. we don't need animals to 'care' about us, either, so I don't understand the relevance of this point. why would an animal want an abortion?!
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@iceman70028 fur animals are often skinned alive, as are cows in factory farms in America who were not stunned properly. Please, explain to me how this is in any way moral. I will assume you are basing your argument on evolutionary grounds, or some kind of naturalism, which bears no resemblance to the cost-cutting, profit-seeking economic paradigms of today which treat animals as commodities without pain receptors.
SuperAnimalDrummer 2 months ago
@iceman70028 Right now, industries have fucked up policies in place by which almost all food nutritional value has dropped and risks have increased. Especially the risks in animal products because our digestive system, better equipped to a plant based diet, rings out the most nutrients it can get. Unlike the shorter digestive tracts for mainly carnivorous animals which give less surface area to absorb all that cholesterol and saturated fat. As for health, just Wikipedia veganism & vegetarianism.
abcdefwoo1234 2 months ago
@iceman70028 As for animal right's bringing US down, that is idiotic. We'd be bringing THEM UP to a better state of life and treatment. And if you believe that comparison had any MAJOR role in the holocaust, it was more for social acceptance than anything else...wow...just wow..I mean, it happened and is still pretty common in schools and towards overweight people for sure. And just because some people screw up causes doesn't make it okay and it doesn't mean others can't do better.
abcdefwoo1234 2 months ago
