Hey you guys, if you don't have this game, download the demo. if you find it hard then don't buy this unless you have other friends with the game. multiplayer is AD-HOC only means you can only use it when friends are nearby. I suck at this and if you are bad at it you should just give up on it.

@Chickenslime thats a question alot of people seem to ask, you don't level up, or atleast in the latest one(MH3 tri). you hunt monsters and skin them to obtain resources to make weapons and armor for your own character.The one i own seems to have a story line of a great water monster thats been attacking the village that you came to, and now your it's new hunter. But the gameplay is fun, bad ass bosses and more. In online mode you get HR which is like leveling up and you play with friends.NP

Err... If you do it just for this series... i say... no not rlly. Sure it's an awesome game series! But if you have a psp i think you should also play other cool shooters/mmorpg's. Like Crisis Core Final Fantasy... or Resistance Retribution. Sure you could do it just for this series! It's awesome and fun to play. But it's your own choice

MasterSlasher1, you need this thing called xlink kai, this serves psp, xbox, ps3 i think. i'll try to get you info to start xlink, in the mean time, look for tutorials on youtube, search these tags, xlink kai psp monster hunter freedom unite. etc. im bout to start playing again, but i dont know how to set up xlink. how ever my friend does, he also hasnt played in a while. i;ll get at you asap or whatever.
