when i was 14 I used to read the lyrics to this song and seriously ask myself "am I a punk" I was worried that my mates would call me middle class cos my dad was in the R.A.F and my mum worked in a factory. so stupidly worried about how you would be seen in the british class system. buying "class war' and feeling pretencious. I think the thing about this song is it takes you fucking years to realize that you are what you are, and it doesnt matter one jot what your generation think of you.

@FuckGangControl ah be a little nicer to the ND boys! sure they went death metal but i don't think they totally sold out. though i'd say they went to tits after "harmony corruption" they still know their roots and where they came from. plus after napalm put out scum, LOADS of bands started copying them, and they didn't want to end up forgotten at the bottom of the list - at least by changing their style they kept their name on top so people could always look to their past works!

@judascrust WHen ND went death metal i said fuck you! death metal is garbage not a sellout just a worthless attempt at being hardcore in sound where really hardcore isnt in the sound as much as its in the raw delivery, energy, and passion put into the music. Its not about how low you can tune your guitars and how heavy you can make your distortion or how big your amp stack is it never was and it never will be!

@pot4tots who says death metal doesn't have passion and energy? sure its a bit more theatrical and more thought is put into its presentation but i find its every bit as passionate and energetic and aggressive as hardcore, its just a totally different style. as for Napalm, those guys have always been into tons of different kinds of boundary-pushing music and they've incorporated influences from them all in every era of their career since the very beginning.
