Could you please share with us the type(s) of paint you used? I noticed with the lips especially there were lots of layering with more than one kind of hue and nothing, from the looks of it, of the previous hue remained even remotely visible. Nice work! I'm impressed to see you so touched by this special artist. I'm always telling EVERYONE to listen to her : )

@3peoplen3days Good questions!I use Nova color acrylic paint. Perhaps the best out there in terms of acrylic. Golden is too thick for me. I lay my colors down in the order of darkness and warmth. using purple vs. black gives me a warm overall color. It does make a difference in the end. although big in my eyes, it doesn't look like it to other people.
