This is embarrassing, and something I did not think I would need to explain, but the remark was a joke. Maybe it was a bad joke, in which case I do apologize. It was intended as a parody of an old person's lament against the young. I am only 44 and do not consider myself completely washed up. Older people think of me as the younger generation, but I am on friendly terms with them, just as I am with younger people in their teens and twenties. [I saw that you had replied and prepared to take another beating.] When I was 18 I liked the older music too, but now I am surprised by the number of new songs that are appealing (rock, country, blues, even some rap). The only music I never learned to like is jazz, but that's why they make chocolate and vanilla, and why opinion on this video seems to be so sharply divided. Thank you again.
