  • "Ett kenta nilsson mål" meaning something like "HE DID A KENT NILSSON-MOVE!"

  • When forsberg scored this in the -94 olymics the swedish announcers yelled "ETT KENTA NILSSON MÅL!" So I think everyone knows that Kent Nilsson was the..dare I say it "inventor" of this move, but Forsberg sure as hell did it in a more historical way (winning the games and all.) So I can safely say that this should be called "doing a forsberg"

  • @Shisanu Riiiiight. Just like the Mike Legg/Michigan move should be called "the Crosby" just because Crosby is "more important?"

  • Forsberg copied Kent Nilsson... It was his signature move.

  • @TheAmazingUploader I disagree man

  • Uhm... You can't really disagree because it is fact, not an opinion :S

Kent Nilsson did the that move first and Forsberg just did the same thing.

  • Look at Marc-Andre Fleury's reaction - even he can't believe it didn't go in.

  • off a post. haahahahahhahahaha. nice move though

  • mike ribiero's idol

  • it´s called a "forsberg" because he did it as a final goal in the olympic shoutout against canada 1994

  • i love how fleury thanks jesus afterwords.

  • Nash does this so often they could just about rename it. And Nash does it faster.

  • @merkstanggtr yeah but no1 does it in an olympic final shootout.... other then Forsberg

  • Rick Nash did this so much better xD

  • @razorslice17 Nash has better reach..

  • you can tell when a guy's aging when he misses on a move named after him

  • @devsfan19 hahah

  • @devsfan19 your just jealous because you didnt come up with it, SWEDEN RULES IN HOCKEY! (exept canada, russia and maybe USA...)

  • i hated foresberg on the flyers

  • @jeffdunhamfan9 everyone hates jeff dunham

  • hes own hes is my best hockey player

  • fleury: oooh thank god haha

  • fan med

  • Haha I love how Fleury reacts like "oooh shit! that was close" xD

  • Fo the record: Its not forsbergs move. Its Luc Robida or Robitaille or who the fuck he is's move. Forsberg just made it famous

  • wrong it has been done long before either of them.

  • who was it in the first place? i might have remembered the name wrong

  • @WFR Wrong, Kent Nilsson (father of Robert Nilsson of the Oilers) did this on a break away in the 1989 world championships in sweden, against the USA..

  • luc robitaille ... most points ever for a left winger

  • he's gonna lose that record if you know what i mean ;)

  • It kenta nillson :P

  • saved by the post fleury's best friend ha well every goalies friend.

  • Malkin does it fairly well too.

All those guys listed though are left-handed.

Kotalik does some damn good shootout goals as well.

  • ahahahah fleury was lyk " oh thank God!"

  • @FoReIgnMoLe Hahaha yeah, that looked funny xD Forsberg is the best though!

  • forsberg is back now and he's playing in Swedish elit league

  • @chappy312 hope he gets well and plays in the olympics..it'l be even more interesting

  • so close

  • kopitar does it very well

  • Aww.. Darn it =) Thanks for the up, haven't seen that one before

  • go pens :) i love fleury's look up to god after the post. he knows who kept that puck out lol

  • thechez29:

the post kept the puck out thats who

    or wut

  • Henrik Zetterberg and Wojtek Wolski do it better than Kopitar, although Kopitar does it quite well as well

  • The first one who did it is actully, Ulf Sterner, don´t know exatly how he´s name spelled

  • i was there i saw it bounce off! dissapoinment is terrible

  • it's the kenta nilsson move

  • Mike Richards just used this move 2009.03.28 to win in Shootout vs. NY Islanders!

  • not likely... Every alexi zamnov vid with this deke says he does a 'forsberg' meaning he did it after the 1994 olympic final.

Kenta Nilsson did the exact same deke in the 1989 World Hockey Championships.

  • yeah, but forsberg has the skill to do it over and over =]

  • Kent nilsson did that movie it in a game (not in shootout) in the 80's man

  • @Khorney but its called the forsberg move because hes famous for using it

  • looked like fleury was a flyers fan the way he reacted after it hit the post lol

  • lol jussi jokinen > forsberg at that move

  • it's Olli, moron. And NO

  • uhm

jussi jokinen was a shootout specialist... he buried that move several times last year... youre a complete joke for not knowing that

  • and maybe even more of a joke for not knowing that there is a jussi jokinen

  • forsberg had him beat :P

  • haha fleury can't believe it lol

  • So funny ^^ He was like: Omg, Im so stupied!

  • so close.

  • nostalgic

  • it was sad that he missed :(

  • its sucks the game highlights online dont show the whole shootout they just show like one shooter and thats it. its sucks

  • i think fleury prolly shit his pants

  • I WAS THERE

  • Great move, however, Zetterberg does it better and more consistantly...

  • Yeah, the move is aka "The Forsberg move"..

  • Forsberg wasn't the first. And still, he managed to do it when it mattered more.

  • idiot

  • lol look at fleury's reaction after forsberg misses it was as if he was upset that forsberg missed

  • lol yea or he was thanking

    god lmao

  • KENTA NILSON WAS THE MAN!

  • ohh so close to a goal poor peter

  • kenneth nilsson was the first guy that did that move

  • kenta nilsson

  • Kent Nilsson

  • kenta*

  • way to show off...

  • I think Fleury got a piece of it...but the Pens flat out owned Philly that year (2006-07). The Flyers went 0-6-2 or 0-5-3 or whatever...

  • forsberg invented the move to begin with

  • i think that he didn't invent it, he was just the first pro and famous hockey player to use that.

  • Kenta Nilsson invented it

    watch?v=QobAlzxDdXc

  • thanx for the info

  • forsberg was what made that move famous by using it for team sweden ( mario lemuix did it first in an all-star game)

  • No fucking way Jussi's goal is better then Forsberg's in Olympics 94

  • but forsberg did in the the olympic gold medal game, which was the winner

  • hahah hit the post XD

  • the golie gets OWNED but Forsberg gets so unlucky.

  • Great vid! U have to watch my Forsberg Vid!

  • lol. that is so unlucky

  • The first guy who done this move was Ulf Sterner, after that Kenta Nilsson than Forsberg, But Forsberg make this move be famous in Olipic games 94 on penalty shoots

  • than? it's thEn

  • no one likes detroit... oh well, we are gonna win the cup this year anyways and continue to be the most dominating team in the past 12 years.

  • Jolkinen jst copies him with all of his moves and he fails in them

  • so ur saying that he always misses the net in the shootout???

  • Zetterberg does this move very well also.

  • Forsberg är kung! Kenta Nilsson gjorde det movet först sen gjorde Foppa det! Men Forsberg är ändå kung:)

  • yeah its the signed foppa move =P and no one does it so cool like him

  • no all of you are wrong forsberg did this before anyone else in the 1994 olympics and he succeeded with a much better result than this.

  • no kenta nilsson was the first person to do it

  • fuck him. He can't come up with someting own!!

  • yea ok thats his move

    jussi stole it

  • Its the Forsberg move man, Jussi just borrows it.

  • wtf that is forsberg's original move, u retard

    jussi stole it

  • so unlucky to hit the stolp, it was perfect

  • aa, ha kommer att göra en storstilad comback i avalanche, tro mig!

  • Foppaaaaaaa!

  • if any of you guys really play hockey try this during a practice or a warmup. you might just get lucky and get a breakaway in the next game... lol FOPPA!!!

  • Zetterberg also did this, but he succeeded. :D

  • can´t win always..

  • so close!

  • Both of them are saying: "oh, god.."

  • thats how the flyers season was last year....

  • Although he didn't score, Fleury was beaten, no doubt. Please come back to the NHL, Forsberg!

  • dang

  • haha i feel bad fr him

he is soo good and he missed that

  • fluerys reaction vas the best

  • hahahah fleury's reaction,(looks up) 'thank you god' haha

  • his feet are comparable to lemieux's back, not to mention a ruptured spleen and a host of other injuries throughout his career

  • Yeah his style of play helped contribute to his health problems later on. But I'm sure he, nor the fans, would've had it any other way.

  • lol foppa

  • LOL look at fluery when forsberg misses

  • nice move had fluery deked out of his panties just got un lucky

  • its funnny how fleurys reaction is the same as everyone there

  • did i ever say the PENS didnt win the game? no i was at that game and the PENS won the game hit "view all comments" you started the bitching yet you call someone out for bitching i really HATE PENS FANS now

  • Why don't you have some cheese with your WHINE? lol you have the balls to say that when u start the bitching off in the 1st place you moron lol

  • True enough. Forsberg plays with so much grit and physicality that his body is starting to give him serious problems. I don't think his drive or his skill have waned at all. He's still a game-breaker. It's simply hard to play hockey when your foot won't let you skate correctly.

  • when forsberg was onthe avalanche he was amazing, on the flyers he was great, now on the predators ... not that well

  • Forsberg is a God! THat move worked for him in the 1996 Worlds and he just missed it again by 1/2 inch! He's a hall of famer!

  • 1994

  • Sorry, my bad. I stand corrected. Make that the 1994 Worlds. (I hope he signs with the Rangers for 2007-2008... A Forsberg, Jagr, Straka line would be UNBELIEVABLE!)

  • lol sure, but all the lines goals would be unassisted:P

  • Ha, well maybe almost unassisted! I'm sure Forsberg would still set up some picture perfect goals for Jagr if he ever got the chance. He's a first-class playmaker.

Did you know Forsberg is third on the All-Time NHL assist list? He averages .90 APG in his career. He is currently listed third all-time behind 1) Wayne Gretzky (1.32 APG) and 2) Mario Lemiuex (1.13 APG).

  • pittsburgh sucks and has always sucked...
