there's something about asian girls that they don't have big breasts so they figure out another way to show themselves- by the lack of bottoms. no, it doesn't make you look taller than the 4'8 that you are, and it's extremely inappropriate. whatever works for tiny midgets in japan doesn't necessarily work elsewhere in the world. I think your look would look sexy enough even just wearing a simple pair of black jeans, classy and chic, not hopeless. I'm stylist and designer, in case you wonder.
