  • Bad guitar player,cool man

  • By the way, thanks for posting this.... Like you say, he is hard to imitate. Simple guitar, but not easy. It's great to see how much soul he is putting into his riffing at the beginning here.

  • At the very beginning of the video, Ronnie looks like being very high on coke or some other dope.... FREEDOM 4 CATALONIA!

  • in the beginning ronnie looks like he has discovered that jagger took his last bag of coke(hanging from his pants) then decides to kill him to then suddenly realize he's playing a gig in front of 50.000 people,.wasted!

  • I would give anything if they substituted keith-cam and charlie-cam for all the onscreen time given over to jagger here. Just not very interested in him, all his talent is covered over by his own insecure posturing. What a waste. I bet he'd have incredibly moving depths to sing about if he felt he could afford to be real.

  • @Bumptiously Maybe we could have a Bill Wyman-cam to fall asleep with? :-)

  • @PeteTSSF .....hilarious... come to think of it, I really need a good sleep aid. Hmm.

  • @Bumptiously Jagger nails it AND he's working that stage like a motherfucker. He's still pulling moves at almost 70 that you probably never could, so lay off Mick. If you talked that kind of trash to Keith, he'd pop you in your gob.

  • Say one hundred thousand people have strapped on a guitar and stepped on any stage. Some can play, many can't, but even those most advanced have not managed anything other than imitation. SRV's spirit it can be said live's on in tribute by imitation. I suppose that's flattering to his legacy but rather boring as a listening experience. There's only one SRV., one B.B. King. one Steve Cropper, Hendrix, Albert Collins, Duane Allman. Players you can identify by style alone.

    Keith is in that cohort.

  • Bill Wyman sounds great as well.

  • As one critic said it - Kieth has a deceptively simple yet elegant style of playing,

  • Beautiful....

  • Ronnie looks drunk at the start, Oh well he still is playing awesome

  • Yes. This is fairly simple to play. Writing it is the trick! Love Bobby Sax funking it up with the sax fills! To yanan45: Yeah. The last 45 years would've sucked without the Stones. To mayitpleasethecourt: WTF are you talking about? Been smoking crack again? Why don't you go watch some porn or something more on your level.

  • The sax player for this tour was Ernie Watts.. That's not Bobby playing

  • keith and ronnie, legends

  • And Sir Mick!!

  • A K is just a medal from England, for achievement. Yu get a medal, a ribbon etc like Pres'l Medal or ... de Hon'r etc

  • ronnie....

  • Keefer the guitar riff master and Mick moves like Gumbee. Last 40 years would have been pretty musically boring if they had not come along. Sometimes the gene pool produces remarkable results, this is one of those times. :)

  • Bill C. is that you?

  • fuckin a right you faggot freaks fuckin your bedpost s out there in suburbiasa im a black man from arkansas with a huge horse dick the alpha male of all time they painted me white n made me god i mean president for 6 years

  • and some times it gives us shit like George Bush.

    :(

oh well, ill take what i can get

    the Stones rule!!!!!!!!!

  • @yanan45 Hear! Hear! You got that right! LOL!

  • Keith is God

  • kings of rock n'roll.

  • I love you, Keith.

  • Yeah, Ronnie is totally blasted.

  • Flashing a tittie LOL

  • lol Mick at 2:09

  • holy mick!!!

  • Fantastic vid -- would love to see the whole song...great show...thanks! (Would love to see this particular version/copy of the entire show in fact!)

  • HAHA!!! Look at Ronnie!!!

  • Saludos al negro Vargas

  • Ronnie, king of crack and free-basing, underpaid Stone extraordinaire, God bless him, he's seen it all.

  • Has young Ronald been at the barmaid's apron again? Nothing changes, does it? I can remember seeing the Faces at some grotty dive in North London (now long demolished - the aforementioned grotty dive that was known on Friday nights as The Sisters Club) and watching various members falling about (and sometimes off) the stage.

  • Thanks for the memories.

  • You can't always get what you want

  • Wait, what's the name of this song?

  • The Name Of this wonderful Song is: "You Can't Always Get What You Want"

From The Album: "Let It Bleed"

  • I'm not telling you because you cant always get what you want sorry.

  • I can play it exactly like this, it's fairly easy.

  • HAHAHAHAA!

    Il cretino!

  • Probably, Ronnie should have been fired for being drunk at work.

Keith's work is typically done on a guitar in an open tuning, usually open G, with capo. Here he is in open E, capoed at the 5th fret. I think Gimme Shelter is also done in E, but with no capo. This is why when you hear most bands cover a Stones classic, it sounds like something is missing.

  • this is dreadful

  • Hmm!

I dread to hear what appeals to you ? ! ?-

  • ronnie looks hammered lol

  • Nobody plays like Keith

  • Sex, drugs, and rolling stones!

  • ronnie looks off his face!!! apart from that i would say that's the best live version of you can't always get what you want that i've seen.
