I'd love to hear her sing it with an instrumental track more like the original. She has good tone and the power to handle this voice. I still love it even more when Kalafina sings it with Elisa because they rocked it out, but this is still awesome.

It's not a "modern" version, both songs are sung ala pop style. You don't encounter many extended vowels in Japanese songs because Japanese words usually contain several syllables, so with their song it's more a case of squeezing syllables into a line of melody instead than extending the ending vowel sound of a word ("awaayy...", "to meee...", "for youuu..."). This version is sung ala English song-style.

I actually like this version too, it gives the song a hint of familiarity.

I really wish she would stick to singing mostly songs that require more strength. She sings softer songs well but she truly shines in the songs that use the entire repertoire of her singing talent. The way she sang adesso e fortuna during the contest and her cover of Voices is incredible. I wonder how good Himeka's cover of Servante de Fue would sound, she is a native French speaker after all.

I have some albums of 'Tamura Naomi'. Her singing style is old but it is completed.

As for many of her music, a range is wide, and the expression of emotions is rich.

Therefore it seems to be hard to show personality when other people sing.

Unfortunately I do not praise you very much this time because I am her fan also.

@EnrichedFormula Exit trance version is unpleasant to the ears... I think that Naomi Tamura and Himeka has better vocals... that Yurie used too much voice manipulations in her version which makes her voice sounds like a robot... not suited for the song which has too much emotions =D
