  • You look beautiful!!!!!

  • Midwives in the UK are a lot different unfortunately!

  • Wonderful video. Great job on sharing all this info.

  • U r so ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Why?

  • You are so cute. Thanks for sharing your views.

  • Yea I think the next time I get pregnant, I want a midwife because they just seem more personal with the patient as opposed to making you feel like another number waiting to get seen in the pregnancy line.

  • Fuck you non strech mark bitch, we don't care about your doula and your over confidence.Everyone isnt so lucky so why would we want to share your luck. And your not even pretty snobish bitch

  • you need a doctor present when having a baby, there are lots of complications that may or maynot occur...my worst experience with having my last baby (out of three kids) is that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck...So the harder I pushed, the tighter the baby was being throttled by its own umbilical cord...A midwife can't have this sort of operation during your labour...Any one else reading this...Take my advice stay in a hospital and have doctors present when giving Birth!

  • @Ssissina You are right, this is what hospitals are for,I couldnt have said it better, their are other complications that could arise, what if the baby is not breathing,oh let me guess, the fucking doula carries a apgar test with her too.smh ladies go to the hospital

  • shes gorgeous wow bab xxxxxxxxxx

  • Wauw mooi buikje!

  • POR MI MADRE Q NO LE ENTENDI NADA

  • why would someone think that about a pregnant woman?

  • Your so pretty !!

  • i had to be induced when i had my baby because there was to much fluid around the baby and if i they didnt induce me my baby may not have not made it and your right about the pain block it does slow down labor but i had already been in active labor for 13 hours befor i got it i tryed going natural but it didnt work out for me :(

  • Around here...where are you? You look very beautiful by the way! Stay confident girlie, you look awesome!

  • Can someone explain the purpose of the beginning of the video?

  • Showing everyone the pregnant belly. Even I luv to see what pregnant bellies look like. I guess so I can get an idea of what I might deal with when I get PG.

She had a beautiful belly BTW.

  • Okay. Thanks ma'am.

  • thank you for the explainations

  • do they really force you to take an epidural and pitocin in the hospital?? isn't that illegal!

  • no they ask u first......

  • W all do respect you are one hot mama..and yes midwife all the way!! =)

  • u r very pretty and good luck wit the baby hope u deliver a healthy baby gurl or boy

  • your pregant?

  • Your belly is great! I want my belly to be like this when I get pregnant!

  • Comment removed

  • when are you due

  • I don't care how revealing it is, I just think you're incredibly beautiful and sexy.

  • Do you yell at women wearing bikinis on the beach too? What about shirtless men? What's the problem here? Everything is covered up! A pregnant belly is a beautiful thing.

  • i agree, there's nothing wrong with her wearing a bikini and showing her belly :]

  • yo are so fricken rude. get a life idiot

  • You clicked on it, you fucking idiot.

  • wow your belly is big and beautiful

  • i really want to get a doula but i have medical and don't think it covers it. If you don't mind me asking, around how much do they run?

  • If you are in Canada, Midwives are free! Doulas do cost money though...

  • hey, im 29 weeks with my 4th child and never got strechmarks either (its in your genes)

Its all very well saying you want a drug free labour, mine were so quick that i didnt have a choice, no pain relief on any of them! not by choice, wait and see when your in labour i bet youl change your mind! Good luck!

  • To rajkumarijaan2:

There is absolutely nothing shameful about:

    1) pregnancy

    2) the natural human body

And as a young woman it's interesting to see the bare belly of a pregnant woman, not having known anyone personally to be pregnant yet.

We were all born naked, not "covered up."

  • a human body is a beautiful thing, it's a waste to hide so much in 'shame'.

  • After watching the Riki Lake documentary, "The Business of Being Born" Im definately going to have a mid-wife or doula. Not trying to offend the Obgyn's out there, but I feel that's what works best for me. If you havent seen it, then you simply must! The Business of Being Born- Ladies & Gents!

  • I saw that movie too, very eye opening

  • good luck to u and ur baby ,u look beautyful and sexy btw :D

  • *cough* MILF

  • yes yes yes

  • lucky u didnt get stretch marks... i hate you lol jk

  • finally a pregnant woman who knows the truth about how beuitiful she is

  • That is, and SHE is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL !!!

  • WOW YOUR BEAUTIFUL! i love seeing pregnancies , its a beautiful thing. No stretch mark's either? How'd you do it? My aunt needs tips on reducing stretch marks.

  • U look amazing pregnant!!! U have got to be one of the attractive mamas out there!!! Ur confidence and glow is beautiful!!! : )

Best wishes to u and ur baby!!

  • ur belly is huge how many r u haveing he he jk :)

  • omg cute my sister in law is pregnant and we keep telling her to show us her belly!

  • "when am i going to be pregant like this again?" tomorrow

  • I had the baby already with no drugs. I wasn't that bad and fast

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • and with the epidural i was just fine and i pushed fine with out any pain..so why take such pain when u have epidural..and it took another 2 to 3 hours for me to give birth after i took epidural...so no delay at all..thankfully!

  • Lol u r so big..no one could even tell if i was pregnant..

  • Congrats on your beautiful pregnancy! I'm glad that I got to watch this video, it was very informational and having natural births for my future pregnancies is what I want. I also want to have at home births. I'm thinking that I want one of my births to be a water birth. I think that would be a neat experience. I bet you are an awesome mommy!!

  • I'm so jealous!!! When I was pregger I got killer stretch marks, ugh! Oh well, I guess they are now my badges of mommyhood. You look GREAT! Congrats!

  • you look hot nice bikini ;)

  • wow I want to look that good at 36 weeks congrats!

  • you are so beautiful, God bless you and your baby.

  • I'm so sorry I didn't mean to give you a negative on your comment....I thought it was beautiful!

  • and your point is???

  • just stating Wow are you sensitive or something "get over it" your the only one the gave me a - everyone else emails me lmao and nice everyone else see my point "but thank you for your feed back"

  • I am so proud of you! I am going to school now to be a Midwife in the U.S!!

  • Trust me girl, I was in the hosptial n I had n epirdurel but I felt EVRYTHING!! EVRYTHING! LOL, My daughter was 9p 6o n my doc couldnt belive how bad it was 4 me, but I pushed her out in an hr n 42 mins. I didnt do horrible, I just moaned, But if I felt aboustly evrything wit an epi I really fell 4 ne 1 who is doin it all the way natural NOTE: after giveing labor the doc found out that they gave me a small doseage of the epi. U know when 2 push wit no doubt! I was in so much pain I passed out

  • sorry to hear about your experience. Was it your first baby?

  • Yes she was my first. I think that is very special you are wanting to have ur baby at home with a midwife, I wish I could do that, I basically did give birth to my daughter with nothing, but because I have a history of passing out, they said they didnt recommend it. Your tummy is beautiful! Good luck! Cant wait to see ur lil baby,

    God bless

  • Congrats belly!!!

  • Congratulations this is the first video of yours I seen. I'm glad to hear thought that your have a midwife. What a wonderful what to start a beautiful journey. We had a midwife-homebirth with our 2nd baby on May 17, 2009, & let me tell you it was BEAUTIFUL! So I think you'll enjoy it and remember it for a life time. Our home birth is viewable if u want to go to my page to watch it. I hope it gives you some insight.

  • I think people who have never had a home birth don't understand how great it can be. I've never hear of someone that has tried both a hospital and a home birth and prefered the hospital.

  • Oh and my name is Lucy as well (Joel is my husband). But I do agree, probably b/c if they did prefer a hospital chances are they are clinically insane. ha

  • I've had 5 births and kids my first nearly died due to low heart rate and idiot Dr. thnk God the specialist told him where to go, 4th child wsn't breathing properly, 5th child made me lose too much blood and was 9Ibs compared to my 6Ib'ers and hurt like hell. I'm glad i was in a hospital for the extra help i needed. But i support those who do natural too :) Good luck hope all goes well I'm sure the angels will be watching you. I actually heard them speak to me thru my labours :) more than once.

  • My partner had a home birth and it went well. A healthy baby who is now 15 years old! She had no drugs, only oxygen. Yes, there is pain, but everyone has different pain thresholds. As said before, just listen to you own body and say what you really want at any time. Best of luck to you. I'm sure it'll be fine. :)

  • I'm glad it went well, I nearly did a home birth once but chickened out, If your going to do one see if you can get your midwife to bring a fibrilator (spelling???) airing on the side of caution. good luck with everything I hope to be hearing some day soon that everything went well :)

  • Pain is a beautiful thing to experience? Your vagina stretching enough to fit a melon through it looks beautiful? A lot of women talk about not wanting to get an epidural but once they experience horrible contractions, they ask for it! I understand wanting to take part in the birth 100% though. I asked for a c-section but the doctor denied it until they realized that my baby wasn't going to be born without one. It wasa Catholic hospital in Europe and the Dr (male) didn't believe in c-sections.

  • Of course, I needed a c-section after 36 hours of labour. The doc finally realized that I wasn't dialating and that my contractions were not strong enough. He thought it was all really amusing too.

  • What a beautiful tummy! Mine was huge and ugly.

  • yaa its knock you down! hehe

  • hey i love that song in the begging of the vid!!!! can you plizzz tell me what the name of it pliz!

  • keri hilson and kanye: cant remember the name

  • if you dont mind me asking, is it twins?

  • just one baby in there

  • Midwives are the best glad they are in Canada now

  • sometimes you have to have an epidural i know if i didnt get one (even though i didnt want it) my daughter would have been hurt and so would have i . i found that it didnt numb me at all just made my labour slow down. good luck with your birth and baby congrats

  • how would your daughter be hurt? I didn't want a doctor to pressure me

  • i wasnt pressured luckyly for me i had my mother with me who is a nurse ,her head would have been squashed , but thats about it . her head had jamed my cervix inside somehow and i would have torn extreamly bad internally but everything went smoothly. have no fear your body knows what its doing

  • i didn't get stretch marks right until the very last month, if you don't get em then, well hey lucky u!

  • Same here! I was really happy and relieved until the very last month.

  • You look amazing! I had a natural birth myself with a doula. We chose hypnobirthing because of the same reasons as you stated. It was the most amazing experience and the toughest! And don't be nervous! Your instincts will kick in right away! You will just know what to do. Good luck!

  • A lot of people are scared of pain, but I think that is is natural and your body knows what to do.

  • it seems like you don't have any stretch marks at all...how do you do that?

  • I don't think there is anything you can do. I didn't gain much weight, that could be the reason

  • very beautiful,, thanks for sharing..

  • CONGRATS! :) I HOPE ALL GOES WELL

  • bless* lol

  • aww plz congrats

  • Hi Lucy. I loved all of your braiding videos and found this by chance. I just wanted to tell you how nice it is to hear that you'll be having a natural birth. Where I live, a doctor is only called if something goes wrong during the birthing process, otherwise, the midwife is running the show. I don't like it when births are problematized either... Best of luck, it will be a great experience Im sure.

  • That's the way I think it should be here. Your country has one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world.

  • you look really great..

congratulations and all the best for you and your husband :D

  • so did u decide on a name yet lucy?i like ur bump btw. so how does it feel lucy?

  • we have a few names in mind. I feel pretty good so far

  • OMG your belly makes me miss being pregnant!

good luck with labor! it's an incredible process so amazing

no one can ever explain to you the pure emotion you'll feel,

and having someone help with breast feeding is VERY VERY helpful! also check out the youtube channel breastfeedingbabies they have good info on how to help the baby latch on! good for you for wanting to experience birth the way women have done it through the ages it's amazing <3 congratulations!

  • ALSO the best thing you can do for yourself these last few weeks is to sleep as much as possible whenever you can, even though birth is natural etc, being as rested as possible is very helpful!

  • omg ur belly is so cute and big :)

  • You look great..I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

  • I love your bump...u look so fit :)

  • you are havin a boyyyyyyyyy

  • Aww congrats! I hope everything goes well when the big day comes. =)

  • =) Aww Lucy, what a blessing! Thanks for sharing him with us, can't wait to see the baby pictures!

  • BEAUTIFULLL(:

  • You look great ! Flaunt it when you've got it ! All the best to you both. Your body looks like it's all baby , no fat what so ever , I'm soo jealous! hee hee....Did you watch what you eat?

  • i didn't have a lot of cravings, I ate about the same as before I got pregnant

  • congrats

  • im sorry but whats a mid wife?

  • check the description box. It is a medically train professional in birth

  • Congratulations, it's lovely to see you happy being pregnant and glowing. You've really embraced being pregnant and you look wonderful!

I'm happy to hear your going to try natural birth.

I wish you and your husband all the best in parenthood.

    XXX

P.S. your belly bump looks so cute!

  • did u decide on a name for the baby??

  • aw thanks for such an honest and informative video Lucy! I have to admit that the whole birthing process scares the CRAPPP out of me... like.. SO scary~ but im really glad you found yourself a midwife, and best of luck!!

  • aww congrats you look beautiful ^_^

  • so can u tell us the sex of the baby?=)

  • boy

  • that's great that you're giving birth naturally- my mom wanted to give birth to me underwater, but she was afraid i'd drown (? lol)

  • the baby does not takes its first breath until it is out of the water or when the cord is cut.

  • omg your so big !

    congrats !!!

  • what a cute belly!!! you look beautiful!!

  • You look amazing!! Congratulations! :)

  • wow you look amazing!! what did you use to prevent stretchmarks?

  • I didn't change anything I normally do. I guess it could be from the baby oil I use after I shower.

  • You must have good genes!! once again you look beautifull!!!
