I am facing a problem in rocket town. When I enter rocket town, I couldn't move, but the music is still playing and the other NPC are still moving. It's just that I couldnt move.

I heard a solution saying that go into the Debug Room to debug it, but I am not sure what to do.

I am already in the Debug room, what should I do?

no, I think they put it in so that testers could easily maneuver around the game, instead of having to start from scratch and work for hours to get to a certain point of the game should something happen. They then just forgot to take it out of the games data.

No, Debugging rooms are used in the alpha testing phases during development of the game to simulate specific situations, jumping to specific points, or acquiring items that would otherwise take hours upon hours to get. When the game code is sent to be put on retail disks, the flag that activates the debug room is removed so end users will not be able to access these rooms without the aid of a third party hack device. IE Gameshark.

these are common mechanics to test games. Just place yourself as a tester. Consider you have to test the game on disc 3 for various possible bugs. Do you think you would want to play through the entire game for every single bug? =)

Cheats are used for the same reason, but often left in games for players.

Safe way : Get an emulator for your PC (ePSXe) and then play FFVII on that, there's a gameshark plugin that you can get for it that'll let you use this code..

Thanks for the info :) . Is the debug room in the PS1 or PC version? I am going to assume it's in the PS1 version since you told me the safest way is to get ePSXe with gameshark. I'm just wondering if you can get it to work on PS3?

@JBalmoreS I don't believe you can. . Not the Gameshark at least. I couldn't get it to work on my ps2, and my friend couldn't on his ps3- but he's kinda.. bad at making things work. I'm sure FFVII would load though. Maybe it was just my Gameshark?

No you can go back. All you have to do is turn off the code. But if your using Gameshark CDX. You need thes cods Bypass Code D01D496C 10F0 810D498A 1046 Full Menu Acess 8009D2A4 03FF Save & PHS Anywere 8009D2A6 0000. Just save when you enter a room and restart the game and load. You will be back where you started from.with all the things you got in the rooms. I have the codes to play with Sephiroth too.:)
