When I was growing up in L.A., one of the punk girls in my ninth grade German class came in early and chalked in huge letters "Naz Nomad and the Nightmares!" up on the board. Never got a chance to thank her for being such a nut-case! That was back in '84 or '85 - been a fan ever since.

Clear as crystal, I remember seeing Naz Nomad & his Nightmares back in 1965 at the 'Shredded Lettuce' club near Islington. Twas a groovy freak-out baby and the best half-a-crown I ever spent.

Oh Yes! Backstage, I vaguely remember a little 'vampire-like' chap (all dressed in black) telling Naz that 'someday, I'm gonna grow up and be just like you Mr. Nomad!'
