@CapitalMforMasturbated @CapitalMforMotivated Your English boyfriend has one tooth and he makes you buff it with your arse every morning. Did you hear the one about CapitalMforMotivated, yeah he went and had a sex change. He paid the the doctor to put his own lips where his crotch is, and his half inch wank placed under his nose because he wants to enjoy yoga a lot more.
@CapitalMforMotivated I love Maori. But since you want to party, get your party dress on because you apparently need attention. The only reason that you CapitolMforMoronivated are talking mess is because your wanker is 3 sizes inside out. Inside your mouth and out of ammunition.
to whom it may concern, I apologize that CapitalMforMotivated misunderstood my post to hangman. I highly respect the Maori people, culture, history, and pride. My heart is with Maori. Hoi Ta!
I have been doing martial arts since 1973. I include boxing and wrestling in there. These guys are amazing.. I have seen longer clips and I love their style.
Dear hangman, on a side note- the original kickboxing was to the death. How many have you killed? How many opponents have you killed with your hook swords? Please re-evaluate your jealous opinions, you make the martial arts you represent look bad. Besides, you obviously failed to hear the statistics about how many times each warrior won/lost. "there's lies, damn lies, $ then there's statistics."
@alohakikadude you are a fuckin disgrace i bet you an your mum dont get along cos your such a dropkick jus you remember muthafuka we are the only country in the world who have not been defeated bi the europeans an well fyte you till the day we die maori aint a culture its a gift an i cant wait to see your pimple white ass on the battlefield bitch il carve you an what you have...te arawa lies waitn 2end ur bulshit xcuse 2breath in this world blaaaaah lol
Hangman, how can you say you are an expert and a teacher when you are so disrespectful to other arts? It is common knowledge that the warriors learned dances for conditioning. I dare say that kata/poomse/hyungs/haka are hardly different at all. Where did you win your Muay Thai title? Have you put your skills to the UFC? Your lack of respect based on a tv show is quite surprising in light of your "karean" (Korean is the correct and proper way to express a proper noun) training. Your real name is?
the man speaking in the back is very rude- he is totally distracting and destroying the art of this performance - suggest use the wooden stick on his ass & silence his mouth with a sharp crack of the baton across his face -
Why is so few video about taiaha on the web? Almost nothing. I'm very interested in the weapon. I'm a hobby wood carver and as my first works I made two taiahas. I'm practicing Kali and japanese jodo and since I made my maori sticks I hardly can put down them. I have some ideas how it should have been used, but that's just based on my current knowlede in different styles.
Is there any video about the basics attacks, defends, foot movements etc.?
@Attilahollo9 There are places to learn how to perform Taiaha over a period of time. There are certain levels just like Tai Kwon Do etc. If you are interested I think you should research where and when you can learn it properlly.
Unfortunetly I'm living in Belgium. I know that sometimes there are seminars in London, but I don't know about any permanent Whare tu taua school in Europe. Maori masters should spread the style worldwide like the east-asians. ANd I believe that western people would be open for the whole maori culture and wisdoms as well.
@Attilahollo9 Well, New Zealand TV had a reality TV show where guys trained in Maori combat and physical training, but I cant' find any episodes of that either.
@hangman1914.. that's because the dude wasn't even a Maori and had no idea wot he was doing! It's all an act anyway. There are actual real accounts of Maori using taiaha to defeat British soldiers armed with bayonettes, not make believe youtube vidz.
@hangman1914.. what pro's?? Dude isn't even using it properly.. have you even seen a Maori use a taiaha! They maybe pro's in their own fields, but not when it comes to the rakau. It's all personal opinion and assumption. Deadliest warrior is a program made for television and entertaining.. of course they want a monk to win, it's what everybody expects.. I doubt anyone has ever heard of a Maori warrior let alone a taiaha.
@bmonz08 SO ARE YOU SAYING THE SHOW IS FAKED AND RIGED BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE IT. AND YOU KNOW I THINK I KNOW YOUR PROBLEM ITS OBVIOUS YOUR A FAN OF THE MAORI AND YOUR JUST MAD BECAUSE HE GOT HIS ASS HANDED TO
@hangman1914.. It's not rigged, it's just not realistic, why did you capsize everything lol. What's it to you anyway?? Of course I'm a fan of the Maori, I AM A MAORI.. AND I WOULD KNOW!!! NOW TELL ME.. ARE YOU A MONK?? ARE YOU AN EXPERT IN WORLD MARTIAL ARTS?? Or are you just a fan of some show who believes everything he see's on T.V!! I've seen a Maori use a Taiaha, and that dude don't know wot the hell he is doing.. They did get one thing right, the monk is a REAL ASIAN! LMBO
@bmonz08 as a matter of fact ive been in muay thai, karean karate , jujitzu, and i teach wrestling and i did learn to use the twin hooks real well. and im telling you two three foot long swords would beat the crap out of a taiaha witch is basically a stick and a rock come on use your head . oh and F.Y.I im not a monk
@hangman1914.. LIKE I SAID, ITS JUST A MATTER OF OPINION MATE! xactly, you ain't a monk and knowing a few sports don't make you some expert, especially on weapons.. stick to rolling around on the mats ay buddy ;)
@bmonz08 well i figured going 6 years undefeated in muay thia full contact fights. and got rank of teacher in korean karate . and is still teaching wrestling i think am dam near close to the expert level dont you think? what i did took YEARS of training what you do i bet i can learn in 5 minutes. maories just twirl a stick dance half naked with long hair and scream with there tounges out what the hell kind of stuff is that. you know what your right nobody knows what a maori is.
@hangman1914 look, I don't want to hear your life story okay mate.. and I don't think dressing like a drag and acting like a circus clown would help your career much either lmfao. You obviously missed the point of intimidation tactics, when Maori warriors fought British troops.. poking your tongue out meant.. after I kill you, I WILL EAT YOU!! Besides the Maori gets stabbed in the head with a fukn knitting needle, how lame is that! The weopons the actor uses arn't even Maori they are Hawaiin!
Don't worry, I realise most ppl who watch that video are naive and know very little about the Maori warrior hence your ignorant comments. A taiaha does not have a shark tooth or a stone on the end, it is also not a spear as commonly percieved. Other traditional Maori weapon were the PATU and MERE, they were used to peel the scalp clean off a human, revealing the brain which would then sometimes be eaten by the warrior. You should stop taking things to heart.. Check out the clip.. SHOTGUN VS MERE
Or better yet, just watch the movie RIVER QUEEN. It's the closest feature film you'll find to showing what it really was to be a Maori warrior, during the colonial period at least anyway (less than 200yrs ago!). It's more realistic than some Hawaiian actor from deadliest warrior posing as Maori, and not even using proper Maori weapons.
