There personalities r different.Jal wasn't a nerd and annoying.And part of being gay is ur friends learning to except it, i dont think they were stealing it from degrassi. I think its a common issue in real life. Im sorry but i hate degrassi they have terrible actors and everybody in that show has too much drama in there lives which makes it unrealistic.
