What a brilliant start to a brilliant album. If I was a boxer I would use this as my entrance theme tune. The drums, the lyrics, the melodic hooks, the darkness.

I'm just grateful I found The The in my late teens (back in the 80's). Matt Johnson fucking sorted me out. I was in danger of spinning out of control and it was music like this that pulled me back from the brink.
