  • The are LIVE from CANADA in this vid!

  • Rick Allen messed up the tempo of the drums at 0:45

  • @1FineYoungCannibal rick did not mess up where did you hear that

  • @cumbygirl2 I've just listened to it again, and, OK, perhaps he didn't "mess up", but he does play the drums in this performence differently to what I'm used to hearing.

  • what's that last part joe sings at the end of the song? i wish i could swim, like dolphins, like dolphins can swim? i don't know but sound cool.

  • Somebody's rushing things, can't tell if it's the drummer or the guitars. Could be the singer actually.

  • Viv is a little too loud at the start but still a great performance

  • Think they sing the song a bit faster here..

  • " freeeeeeeezzz uuppppppps...my mind.."

  • they were tight right here. spot on. this is when they needed to come out with a smash record. with a couple hit singles.

  • Def Leppard is one of my favorite bands but as much as i like them i like all the music ever made really it is not if it is hip hop rap rock or anything if you like the song listen to it if it would be Lady Gaga or Def Leppard Or Ozzy Music is made for your enjoyment.

  • THE BEST BAND

  • Kibbaszottul jol szolnak meg mindig.... csak igy tovabb

  • Joe looks so funny... his hair.. But still he sounds nice.

  • @adrianenduro He's going for the modern Simon Le Bon look:-)

  • @adrianenduro ricks hair looks funny!:D....

  • @adrianenduro joe still looks hot

  • these guys used to fill up an arena, and now they have their audience politely sitting and listening, that looks weird ..

great song though, reminds me of my 20-years-ago teenagehood

  • used to? i just saw a sold out show at joe louis and pine knobb

  • This is from the show "Vh1 Storytellers" shot back in 1999 or so. It's not a concert setting, its a small TV studio and has nothing to do with how big of an audience they can draw.

  • @beefcake0354

It's a tv special dummy. I saw Def Leppard a couple of summers ago with over 20,000 in attendance. A few years before that was a Scorpions-Whitesnake show with 18,000+. These bands still can draw big crowds it's just you have moved on to hip hop, rap and mainstream radio sh*t while forgetting who really are the masters.

  • What do you mean by "used to fill up an arena"??

    This was a tv special.

Def Lep, Van Halen, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden..just to name a few, still fill up arenas and have great tours. They may not be played on mainstream top 40 radio like your Lady Gaga and Nicklecrap...but are still very popular bands.

Get out of your house more and stop listening to Lady Gaga and JayZ homo stuff.

  • @TheMature57

What are you attacking me for?

I do not live in US (or wherever this gig took place), so I do not know all about it. Is that such a crime?

And because I have some misunderstaning about something, that makes me a GAGA's fan?

I grew up during 80's, and I probably listened to metal songs more than you did. And of course, Leopard is one of my most favorites.

    Chill dude

  • @beefcake0354 ...I'm not attacking you. I just find it hard to understand why someone who enjoys music and has his/her fave bands would not know this is a tv special and that bands like Def Leppard(and others) still draw large crowds.

    btw...it's Leppard, not Leopard...which proves again I know more...lol.

  • @TheMature57 If you don't mean to attack people, stay away from saying something like "Get out of your house more and stop listening to Lady Gaga and JayZ homo stuff"

Though I don't find GAGA or JayZ interesting. I don't think they should be referred to when you try in insult someone. It's a free world and any kind of music has its own way. Rock is good, I like it. But I never think of other genres as shit. And neither should you.

  • @beefcake0354 ...I hurt your feelings?....wimp. All rap, hip hop and most pop is a perfect reason to insult anyone.

Have you figured out yet that many of the classic bands stil draw big crowds and this was a tv special?...LOL

    Now bugger off.

  • @TheMature57 If insulting people on Internet just for fun is what you do, obviously you are the one who needs to leave the house and have a life kid.

  • @rafaelekk Do you have any idea what song you're disgracing? This is one of the best songs in Rock music, and it's a helluva lot better than any shit you could hope to make.

  • @rafaelekk Stunning Myth Amigo

  • This performance available on DVD? Love the mix and bass work.

  • Timing seems wrong,

They seemed to have turned into Duran Duran.

  • amazing song

  • I recommend that everybody should check out the vid of this performance that is full! It's on youtube and it's better!

  • beautiful guitar harmonies

  • If only the video was as long as the song! At the end Joe adds lyrics from David Bowie's "Heroes"! It gels great with the song and if you ever listened really closely to Hysteria you can a little bit of the quitar riff from Heroes as well!

  • Good sound live Sav Rocks.
