its all right looking good on the imac but what is the finished product like when you send it to the printers i had coral draw before is it better than that ? because i dont really want to fork out for adobe or quark

You need to turn up the volume on your microphone. I can barely hear you, and my speakers are on max, and so is the video volume.

the only problem i think about keynote is that when you export to powerpoint, most of the fonts, effects, and sounds are removed usually.

Iwork wont auto correct me when i type...If I type "i" in word it capitalizes it it doesnt work here.

Mac programs are very plain looking. It looks like crap compared to windows 7 really. I'll have office 07 over this suite any day.

the sound seems fine to me and nobody else has mentioned any problem with it- maybe check your speakers or try watching in HD for high quality sound

You omitted to mention the fact that now Apple iWork users can share their work via email too. In iWork 08 if I wanted to create a Pages doc and use it in Word at work, I had to create 2 different files, a Pages one and a Word one. Now I can create a Pages file, choose Share via email, hit the format I want and off it goes, without having to make an extra document.

iwork is awesome but i cant use it for school because my school only uses dumb microsoft office <.<

in iwork 09 u can export files as office files, so they will all work.

When using files between iWork 09 and MS Office, do you lose formatting or are there stupid compatibility issues (like when you try to open office07 files in office03, since there are new animations, etc in 07 that aren't in 03)?

previous to this i did not know that iwork is a separate program, with pc its nice to know it comes with microsoft word, but now that i have a mac i have to buy iwork too, gotta save up lol thanks for the walkthrough
