  • Scroll up you missing a great interview!

  • "You can't build a roster with 35 to 40 year old guys" I think someone needs to tell Tna this.

  • Would really like to see him in MMA.

  • @immuntocrap2 Yeah he would kick some ass!

  • 2:30 -- I've been saying this for years! I even made a frigging map! WWE needs to make it's own territory network! I mean, they already have a monopoly on the wrestling world already, why not?

  • jr would be awesome at commentating English cricket

HECK most play by play reporters steal jim ross/ McMahon lines

    thanks for the video

  • Jim cornette pretty much summed up precisely why jr and heyman will never go to tna and i like this guy a lot better than the off the record guy because this one actually let's the guys finish their sentences!

  • Oh man, JR would be an awesome cricket commentator he'd be able to explode with excitment when a wicket fell or a really good shot and the rest of the time he'd be slowly building up the story , ahhh do it JR do it, I'll teach you the rules haha

  • JR must go to UFC

  • Gordon Solie was the greatest of all time. JR, however is very good

  • JR would be amazing as a cricket commentator! Him and Boycott would make it the most popular sport in the world!

  • 1:57 ...yeah tNA needs to learn this

  • I think JR brings a really good point thats where WWE is suffering right now there don't have the talent they need when all the old guys leaving or retiring such as Edge, Shawn micheals and others. Also I'm sure people like Undertaker and Triple H, Big Show, and maybe Ray Mysterio won't be around for much longer, maybe. They only Big guys they really have is Cena, Orton, and a handful of others. Its harder to find talent now with less competition.

  • @reavessname I tell people this all the time, WWE had a real downpoint in the early and mid 90's where the only big stars on the roster were like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, WWE has to blame themselves for this new downpoint also. The tag team division is what stars have been formed from. Batista, Orton and Cena all were WWE tag teamers back in the early 2000's and formed into great superstars. Now WWE just puts guys out for the wolves and expects them to be great and it just fails.

  • ha ha! the cRock got cut by the CFL, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy...

  • @JulesGunn not JUST the CFL, but from the Calgary Stampeders! Where I live!! ahahaa

  • @kiriachuk - u gotta be spectacularly sub-par to be released by that outfit...bwahahaha! Austin Rules Forever!!!

  • THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • jim ross is very smart

  • i could listen to him all day!

  • " hired foley, austin and the rock " that was enough right there to get him to the hall of fame lol

  • This man is a fucking legend... bow down to the king...

  • He was off the hook in the old NWA. I miss the info on the wrestlers lives (what they did in college, etc.) One of the great insights was when he related that Stan Lane and Vanna White knew each other in South Carolina (clearly legit and not made up.)

  • get rid of cole and bring back gold ol JR!

  • I would love JR to comment my whole life

  • "Wished he could have done it a little longer".

    Damn Vince and Michael Cole!

  • I'd teach JR cricket, would be brilliant.

"By Gawd Jimmy Anderson's 3rd wicket as god as my witness the Aussies are broken in half!"

  • ross is a "WWE guy" once ur truly in that light u don't go down a notch, that would be depressing to me....on another note, it's sad to hear JR say "and wished he coulda did it a little longer" there at the end, there's NO REASON why JR isn't commentating in the WWE if he WANTS to be!

  • I can listen to Ross all day long, with his knowledge of the business. Since he's not involved with WWE broadcasting, how about getting involved with TNA? Running TNA is something that would be very interesting to see what he does, or at the very least, broadcasting TNA.

  • I would listen to JR read a phonebook

  • @DXslilgangsta MY GOD Its Jason Whitaker at 842-563-9875 LMFAO. GOOD GOD OH MIGHTY

  • i agree with jim ufc doesnt have a good presentation still doesnt jim ross would help them promote it better if he was put in the position

  • Comment removed

  • EPIC!!

  • @SpaceTasteMedical Right you are, my friend. Right you are lol

  • is it just me or does jr look like an old butch dyke in this vid

  • I really feel for JR. Greatest announcer of all time and he couldn't even call it career on his own terms. Really sad when he says he "wished he could have done it a little longer".

  • Wow, he talked more about MMA than he did about wrestling. Bad job by the internviewer.

  • where's his hat?

  • @thetakeris4ever He hates wearing that stetson hat. It was Vince Mcmahon's idea because he found it funny that he shared his name with JR Ewing. Jim Ross has never liked it and doesn't wear it when he is off camera.

  • @thetakeris4ever

He hated wearing that hat for years, and has been quoted saying as such.

  • 1 dislike is from Michael Cole.

  • The interviewer does a good job. But man, he talks with his hands like nobodys business!!!!

  • I hope I can reach the heights that this man has. He has inspired me for many years to become an pro wrestling announcer and I hope I can have the same success he has, although in my mind he will always be better.

  • Ross encapsulated why someone like Tenay is so ineffective as a broadcaster even though he is obviously an enthusiastic fan and knowledgeable. Tenay talks down to the fans while Ross talks with the fans, like a buddy on a barstool telling a story.

  • @eslubin well said

  • JR and Heyman dont need TNA, wrestling fans need JR and Heyman to go to TNA.

  • we miss jr please come back !!!

  • Jr said he is never gonna be the best at broadcasting anything . . hmm sorry to disappoint Jr but you reached the status of God of broadcasting aaaagggeess ago

  • 16:00 is my favorite part, where JR talks about knowing your favorite picks or fighters. That is soooo important, and I noticed that with WWE in these past few years. They have new guys each 6 months, and not many people had an 'emotional investment' in these combatants.

  • @packleader1215 I'm studying to be a sports broadcaster one day so I apply this knowing your fighters concept to other sports too. By doing that you are able to give more insight on what you are broadcasting,

  • Jim ross is gert great

  • a Curling slobberknocker xD

  • One of the significant voices? He IS THE VOICE of pro-wrestling.

  • tna needds jr and heyman too really kick it up a notch

  • @madmaxOH

The problem is, JR and Heyman don't need TNA and never will. Ever. TNA sucks.

  • @madmaxOH TNA's unsalvageable, unless they actually bought it and fully owned it. If that happened and we saw Paul Heyman controlling the booking, JR running talent relations & Jim Cornette doing the development territory, I think WWE would be in for a battle. But if people like Dixe Carter, Vince Russo, Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff have any control over the product, then there's no saving it.

  • @madmaxOH No TNA needs to do TNA and stop trying to be WWE like. Be TNA do something new like ECW did.

  • @madmaxOH

Heyman and JR are too good for TNA. End of story.

Neither of them would stoop so low.

  • @iTubeYourDadsMinge No, they are both too smart to deal with bastards like Hogan, Bischoff and Russo.

The 3 owners/creative of TNA if they want to compete with WWE would have to be JR, Cornette and Heyman.

They would be the perfect trio for a company. Unfortunately Dixie Carter didn't think enough to do a deal with these 3 rather than Hogan, Bischoff and Russo. If only she had.

  • @iTubeYourDadsMinge JR yes but Heyman is shit lawler is much better than hayman

  • @madmaxOH they'll never hire heyman. he already said the first thing he'd do is fire anyone over 40 (flair, sting, hogan, nash, hall, x-pac, etc......). Those guys wouldn't let that happen.

  • @madmaxOH Why would JR want to go to tna he makes a lot of money working for WWE

  • @madmaxOH The Attitude era's roster couldn't help tna,oh wait half of them are their and it's still complete horse shite

  • @86Stooy

half of them are there???? WTF are you watching bro the Attitude Era was a success because young guys such as Austin , Rock , HHH , Foley , BigShow , HBK ,DX , Owen Hart , Big Bossman ... What superstar is currently in TNA out of all of them?

Your full of shit dude get your facts right

  • @86Stooy Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, yes I think there were 6 guys in the attitude era.

  • @madmaxOH i know your comment is old but man that is soo true. heyman for creative and jr for talent

  • I would like to see JR do Cricket. Curling would be cool too.

  • @Sentry459 yes. he'd make anything good.

  • man this guy is such a genius and his voice is so familiar to me. wrestling was a huge part of my childhood and alot of it was good ol JR explaining to me what was happening in the ring. and it is awesome that he is a true mma fan with actual knowledge of the sport. a great mind in pro wrestling and a very smart man. we love u JR. thanks for the memories

  • i think even mma fans respect Jim Ross which is good

  • JR is the greatest announcer of pro wrestling

  • He could offer some much to TNA

  • I wish Ross would go to UFC.

  • @InfiniteWhizBang nah i think strikefoce he wud suit lol

  • The last line Jim Ross said in the interview is so true. Hopefully we will see him again announcing

  • Thanks for the upload! Especially for those of us who don't have money for cable TV!
