I thought this Girl was robbed of the gold. Just because her fellow countrywoman Bianca Panova the reigning Bulgarian world champion at the time dropped her clubs, it seemed that the Soviets were hell bent on not letting her win. i really think she showed the most versatility moving from fast to slow. Maria Lobach was good, but I think this is where the Russians stole the gold from Bulgaria. Bulgaria had been the gold champions for years.
