quick question how do you keep all the dead bodies there. mine disappear in like 2 or 3 in game days

Is Conjuration Dual Casting worth to spend a perk point into? I am wondering if it has any change in making the Death Thrall spell stronger, so I can Death Thrall people who I can not make a zombie without that perk.

@Leto85 that perk is mainly for people who use bound weapons. thrall summons, including dead thrall, last so long that the perk is useless.

I wanted to do a whole a necromancer build while using a two handed sword and sporting the drauger armor or the lich king armor mod. Much to my disapointment I found I cant use Frost cloak with dead thralls. :( They fall over dead everytime I cast it. Anyone know if this is a bug?

@GLaDOS20 - i test out any unique bodies during quests and if they seem cool, then i bring them home.

Hey quick question.. Are ancient vampire any good? And where is there a location where I can come across a master vampire?

@GLaDOS20 master vampires are level based. anywhere you entered that has vampires after reaching the mid level 30s but before the high 40s/low 50s

How come when I use Dead Thrall on some people, it says that their too powerful?

I used the restoration potion glitch to make my dead thralls overpowered by when i went i through a loading screen the stats went back to normal!! Curse You Patch 1.04!!!!

Just curious for my own use, but, how exactly is it that your magicka bar doesn't deplete when casting the dead thrall spell? It takes nearly all of my magicka every time i cast it, and I'm on level 81??

I found a cool glitch with dead thrawl. If you improve the thrawls original armor (like alteration glitch) and give it back to them when you load a new area they equip the better armor. My thrawl has a 1 hit kill weapon and awesome armour!

My thrall glitched out, and it said I had 3. 1 wouldn't go away from my active effects screen and people constantly commented how dangerous my spell looked. Annoying. Eventually I found this can be fixed simply by transforming into beast form.

Hey Pms00, do your dead victims disappear if they are not under the spell? Mines did after I upgraded her armor and weapons. I worked on other things like alchemy and enchanting while she laid dead in my closet. I went to check her out and she was missing. I'm assuming dead corpse despawn. Your take? If so, what's the life expectancy of your dead corpse if not under the dead thrall spell?

@KARBONdieOXIDE - patch 1.3 did this under the guise of 'cleaning dragon corpses'. every corpse has its own decay rate now. you'll have to test each and every thrall. some last 1 day, some last 7, some last 10, and some never go away.

it is annoying. show your support for perm corpses within houses on the bethesda forums!

@pms00 I have a question concerning dead thralls are they better then companions or are they just a preference

@combatbenyamin - they retain NPC AI and behave like horses in regards to how they travel with you and follow. You cannot order them to do anything and you cannot change their gear (on the console) so they are much more limited in what they can do. However, some thralls have abilities that followers do not and many of them can dish out way more damage.

Hey guys just thought I'd share how to equip DIFFRENT armor than what was originally on the dead thrall on PC. First store the armor you want to equip on the dead thrall then resurrect the dead thrall.After that open up console commands and click on the thrall. Next type"inv" to figure out the id of the item you want to equip. Then typ in EquipItem "EquipmentID".I just learned this today and have only tried this on forsworn so far.Thumbs up so people can see.

@pms00 Yea it was a hard choice whether to get a gaming pc or a ps3. Ultimately i did get a gaming pc and its paid off when playing games like skyrim.Its around the price of a 180 GB ps3. My comp was 455$

Thanks, but i did some research and testing. Only select few bodies dont despawn, like the mage from the quest spell breaker and the ebony mail quest aswell.

@EatVengeance1 - doubtful. hoping for patch 1.5. if you don't care about the other fixes, you can uninstall the patch and keep bodies around for 7 days. you'll have to restart the game, though.
