@TheJasonDR the AK is more than accurate enough to get the job done, and the newer ones are as accurate if not more accurate, besides, the M16s direct gas impingement system is a very flawed design known to have serious jamming issues in sandy, arctic, or muddy enviroments, so yeah the M16 is more accurate than the AK47, but thats about it

I just fucking love Russians and their AK's! The only thing I hate about the AK's are that in every game, its either they put too much recoil on it or you cant put a silencer. Also, I don't like the AK cause theres no rail system on top of the upper receiver.

@timothychong48 Too much recoil is a game balancing option. Experienced shooters can easily stay on target with short bursts with the right stance, although it is difficult at longer ranges. Games don't mean shit, they're just for fun.

Wars were fought without rail systems for centuries: if you can't handle your gun for shit, rails aren't going to help. And there are rail adapters for the receiver.

@timothychong48 Games usually have very low and controllable recoil. We have the console gaming to thank to. The SCAR L was also made to be very controllable, with a slower ROF than the M4.

Rails=/=better gun - if the design is flawed, it's not the rails that are going to save it. Infantry is deployed in such numbers that armed forces are not going to buy ACOGs, EOTechs, PE boxes and foregrips to everyone. Rather buy an efficient weapon in which you can just use ironsights.

Это хорошее оружие, но есть минусы но только вот почему на цевье не делают направляющие для крепления спец. рукоятки (для удобства стрельбы) с возможностью регулировки по горизонтали? И прицел уж больно громоздкий. Я не понимаю, неужели нельзя было элементарно на крышке ствольной коробки сделать те же направляющие для крепления прицела? И еще один момент: затвор нах-ся справа, неудобно перезаряжать (затягивается процесс). Нельзя что-ли сделать затвор посередине выше сгиба приклада?

25000 AK-101rifles have been sold, but it hasn't entered service in any army. The thing is that most of the buyers are enthusiasts, private companies or mercenaries. The 5.56 mm NATO does more damage then the 5.45x39 mm bullet and it's manufactured in more countries, making it more accessible. Also the price might be close to that of the 5.45 and you can carry a lot of bullets with you because they're quite small. It makes sense why they bought it, it's perfect for mercenaries.

наиболее перспективным был бы АЕК 9мм с быстросменными стволами укороченный/ нормальный/ удлиненный, с подкалиберными патронами (7,62/6,5/5,45 и другие) и патроном 9мм для штурмовых операций и штатными магазинами на 60 патронов, АК же со сбалансированной автоматикой весит больше АЕКа и это серьезный минус.

АЕК кстати принят на вооружение, но по моему только для танкистов. Очень просто ИЖМАШ основной поставщик, а АЕК выпускается на ЗиДе, ИЖМАШ просто задавил их. Говорят - если передавать на ИЖМАШ - тогда надо конвейер перестраивать, а если оставлять на ЗиДе, то куда тогда ИЖМАШ - все как обычно - пока ИЖМАШ не спихнут с заказов он так и будет препятствовать перевооружению. Впрочем ваша армия может просто разместить заказ на ЗиДе на АЕК.
