I've been considering building a completely CUSTOM set up, tank & all . My thought is that I could increase the surface area of the tank & I also want to install MOONLIGHTING around the base of the tank, in the cabinet! LEDs would be great for that! Small space & little to no heat! Nice!
I dont know why i didn't think of this sooner. I had been paying the ridiculous price for the little "hook together " LED lights for my tanks. Then with all of this xmas stuff going on,..I thought "HEY!! Why not use those LEDs??" I bought a 18 ft rope for only 7 dollars,...and my tank looks great at night now!! But urs looks SUPER BRIGHT! Did you use something specific for aquariums?
@dunduncan12 hey, if you would like some great fish tank lighting, please check out bblites.com. we sell LED pixel sticks, which have three auto-fading lights. red, green and blue. please leave me a message for more information. thank you
