The environmental impact of mass immigration to the US is just too great to put up with these arguments for much longer. We're way overdue to try to balance in-migration with ex-migration (which would mean capping immigration to about 200,000 per year rather than the million per year that it is at now). We won't have the political will to do this, hence we are in deep, deep shit. (currently 2 out of 3 babies in US are born to the foreign born. and they consume like... Americans. Big trouble.)
Smerconish is "intelligent"? By his OWN admission, he scored 800 on the SAT's (I know many people, including myself, who scored nearly that just on the math.) That extrapolates to a borderline-retarded IQ. Smerconish has no brain, he just memorizes other people's opinions and regurgitates them as he sees fit. His main demographic of listeners consists of lower- and lower-middle class white-trash males over 50. He is a loser plaintiff's attorney who has no real talents, just a good memory.
