The very fist time I saw this, I was five or six, (i'm fifteen now)& I didn't cry until she sang the "Touch Me!!" part. I was overwhelmed with such utter sadness and sympathy it hurt. I cried even harder when Vicky touched her, tears of happiness though. After that moment I had the upmost respect for them both. Even when I watch it now, it sometimes still gets to me. I will always remember this. When I saw it live when I was 7 it was even worse because it was done almost as well, it was magical.

Elaine Paige has the voice of an angel.

I like how this video starts where Helen Massie (Jemima) sings in the beginning so you get a better idea of what's happened. When she tires at the (4:20) Grizabella is revived and encouraged by Jemima continuation of her song (4:34) it is incredibly heartwarming. If the passion of Paige's voice when she gets up around the 5:00 mark does not bring tears to you, nothing ever will. It's one of the best scenes/songs from a musical ever.
