Its quite a bit of fun, when you get the chance give it a shot. Remember, if you shoot corrosive ammo you need to take extra steps in protecting the bore from rust and damage.
nice rifle, i have an earlier lee-enfield, the no.1 mk 3 SMLE .303. i think the lee-enfield range is gotta be one of the best rifles. just hint on the magazine to help you, with mine, it works easier to put the front end of magazine in first then slowely pull back to trigger gaurd while pushing it in, make sence, if it doesnt tell me, and ill try explain better,
hey. good video. very detailed. i have a video up of one of the earliest lee enfields actually that was used in world war 1 and 2. check it out. urs is more detailed than mine. and the megazines are seriously hard to get in arent they!? lol. anyway, good vid, 5 stars
Most likely you have a No4 bolt instead of the one designed for the No5. It happens alot.

thats a sweet rifle i like the enfield especaily the jungle carbine..by the way the simpsons blanket is cool hehe

My No.5 has the hollow bolt handle and the forestock has a metal cap on it. I bought it for 85 dollars. This is the best bush gun I've ever owned.

bolt guns arent restricted as far as i know only semi automatics.
Tnuggz420 2 years ago
@rzpaintball In Canada mags only have to be limited to five rounds if it's a semi-auto center fire. Rim fire, and others there is no limit.

Thing about enfield magazines is they are VERY fragile around the feed lips and were not made to be taken out of the rifle very often.
I depress the mag release then put the mag in, lot more easier, and easier on the mag.
I just got a nice all matching no.5... One of the neatest rifles ive ever owned. Fun to shoot too!
