Halo was good in CE and 2 but Halo 3 seemed alot less fun. Boring ass multiplayer. Forge is beast though the only thing on Halo 3 that is good imo. ODST is somewhat better with firefight but the campaign is decent. They mainly made that game to entertain fans while they work on Halo Reach which might kick Gears 2 ass imo. gow2 has a great story halos story was basically like heres a map go find cortana and blow shit up. in gow I actually felt sorry for dom when he found his wife. Halo didn't really have any of those moments i was like Wow. Forge is fun and custom content is what keeps me coming back to halo. though it took epic games 4 updates to get the multiplayer right and its still not the best. also for the boom shot...you can avoid if the player isn't close by...but if they're close to you..if you get face to face then he'll kill himself as well...but it's the same thing with the rocket...
