you had to be in the 60's to know who Leslie uggams was , and watch the weekly tv show she would perform on
the mitch miller show, she was the only Black singer on there,, she is part of history

Back around the same time Leslie did another great song on Atlantic "A House Built On Sand" which has an awesome vocal and great arrangement but tone deaf radio didn't pick up on these great sounds...what else is new?
