I have the saddest story anybody heard. Lakeside was playing in Sacramento, CA where I used to live about 4 years ago. My boss was a double drag fool and wouldn't let me leave work early to see one of my favorite bands of all time. I quit the job the next week. Now I'm living in the cold true north called Vancouver, Canada where there's no funk to be found.

One day I will put on a Funk Fest 'cuz these snowflakes need some funk in their soul.

I just saw Lakeside in concert about 6 mos ago. Them Negros STILL GOT IT FOR REAL!!!!!!!!! The still sound excellent, they look better than they looked back in the day. I'm serious, they got the bodies of 25 year olds; and energy to go wit it. Then they had the nerve to have on some camoflouge pants and tanks. They had me ready to be a groupie for they old asses. LOL naw but for real they were EXCELLENT! The only complaint I have is that I wish they would have sang more songs.
